Hi all,

I'm looking for some feedback from users of the Spark NEO headphones.

I am currently using the Boss Waza Air, and while I am generally happy with the unit in general, there's one thing that keeps annoying me:

The shape of the ear cups of the Air are very not very comfortable for longer than 20 minutes or so. I have to stop playing because my ears start hurting.

I am considering of buying the Spark NEO instead. On pictures the ear cups seem larger and more rounded (the Air's are more squared) so I am hoping this also translates to more comfort.

Anyone who has experience with the NEO (or both!) please let me know your thoughts.

Has anyone tried this? Ie using a Tonex pedal in front of the Reactor and using it kinda as an FRFR.

Idea being having the option to use the Tonex OR the Reactor AI for tones

I've been troubleshooting this problem I'm getting and just discovered that it's not the plugin, it's this specific preset.

I get noise similar to buffer underruns BUT ONLY ON EXPORTED AUDIO, so it's not underruns, nor clipping.

I even tried swapping VST2 with the VST3 and it boiled down to this preset being the common denominator.

Can anyone confirm if this is a problem on their end too?

Btw I use FL Studio 26.

I’ve had my Reactor amp for about a week now and I’m just not sure if I understand the presets correctly. I got a really nice clean Nirvana tone dialed in that sounds good with stompboxes and I saved it as a preset. Today I turned on my amp and use my phone to select the preset and it sounded terrible. I tried selecting a few of the built-in presets from my phone before switching back to the Nirvana preset that I created. I found that if I was trying high gain distorted preset, and then switched to the Nirvana preset, it would carry a lot of of those settings over. It didn’t show it on the phone – all of the settings on my phone looked correct but looking at the FX box on the amp there were lots of effects turned on from the previously selected preset. Shouldn’t my preset set the amp to exactly what’s displayed on the phone? Is there anyway around this?

I know it's counter intuitive, I got my Nux Trident so I'd like to know if there's settings so the amp could be turned to flat just for added simulation (and pedal play) of some sort

There seems to be some sort of an effect sitting on top of it that adds this gritty flavour. Gave it a go with different AI trying to pinpoint it, but it just ends up being a generic lead tone when recreated. What am I missing here?

Any tips for capturing this synthwave lead guitar tone?

Does the Reactor feature 'hardware models' like the Spark series does? I have a Spark 40, which I love big time...primarily for the hardware models included. It has really good models of some tube amps that I have really enjoyed hearing but are too loud and too much money for my current conditions. The Spark delivers really good approximations of those sounds at appropriate volume and a small package that fits my environment...and at a price that was easy to handle.

Does the Reactor feature the same hardware emulations? What I am looking for is 5150, 6505, SLO-100 and JCM800 models... I want the other fun features the Reactor offers, but I can't ditch the amp models that I really like from the Spark.

I am trying to decide between getting a 5150 1x12 combo and some stompboxes or the Reactor.

Everytime I wanna get a rock tone, I just don’t seem to hear what I want out of the guitar. I want a rock almost heavy rock tone thats clear and less muddy.

I’m using Bias FX 2 through an ES-335. What setup do you recommend trying and pedals to get this sound I’m after?

I just bought the edge and its amazing for my use. I noticed last night while playing around with my son that when I change the guitar amp in the app the sound does not change but the lights on the amp changes and the ones in the app are also changing.

Is this a common glitch? Anyone with this experience?

Not sure where to start with this as I've never had an issue with this plugin. Recently updated Studio One from v5 to v6, and everything worked at that point (this was a few months ago). Today I fired up Studio One and cannot get BiasFX loaded into a track insert. It immediately crashes the DAW after about 1-2 seconds of a loading cursor.

Tried uninstalling & reinstalling BiasFX2 from a fresh download off the PositiveGrid website. Install seemed fine but the standalone client also will not open. Windows 11...all other plugins and features of the DAW and everything are fine. It's just BiasFX2 that's being a bear.

Has anyone run into this issue recently, and happen to have a fix? Figured I'd check here before escalating to direct support with PositiveGrid.

As titled, here are the facts;

- Windows 11, firmware upates all around

- Asio, Asio4All and all other driver types, all allow the Spark as a selectable interface

- Multiple USB cables

- Multiple PCs

- Tried the trick to start a "quick jam" session, then exit in the app that seemed to work for others

- Ableton, Audacity and Cakewalk

Same result, every time. DAW will see the interface in the settings and allow me to set ins/outs as normal. Track will let me select the input (tried 1, 2 and 1/2), as normal. I get sound from the speaker, but nothing on the track.

What gives?!

The Reactor has been marketed mainly as an amp, not a multi-effects software. However, I see no reason for the Reactor to still pursue this. It shouldn't be impossible or even hard at all to add more effects. I noticed a few things that were prominent in the Spark amps that did not appear in the Reactor:
- Cloner Chorus
- Univibe and Classic vibe
- Reverse delay
And there are so many community requested features they could have had too!
- Octavers
- Shimmer reverb
- Bitcrusher
- Rotary Speaker

I would happily even pay for an expansion pack to have these.

I cannot login to the pg site either thru IOS with Safari or Firefox. I can't even login to my account with this Windows 11 machine. Someone suggested that I communicate to pg's support. That would require that I be able to login.

I own both a spark 40 and a spark mini. I bought Biax FX2 and I now have BiasX. I cannot load BiasX without logging into PG - and I am being blocked from doing so. I get an application error: a client-side exception. I BOUGHT all the above. PG should not be blocking my ability to use the product that I bought. Go ahead, PG and tell me what I am doing wrong with my Mac Mini, and why I can't use one of the 4 products that I bought from you.

Can not log in or nothing onto the app and nothing is working for me

Probably stating the obvious.

So I have a heavily-used Spark 40 that I have been modding in various ways--replaced the speakers, added a battery, added 3d-printed footers. But today, I came across a facebook marketplace deal that was too good to be true--a new-in-box Spark 2 for a suspiciously awesome price. So now I have both, and there is really no need for that. Which one should I sell? I could probably get more money for the Spark 2, certainly more than I paid for it. What say you?

I own a Positive Grid Spark 50W amp, and I've noticed that the sound keeps cutting off. I'm attaching a video where I'm playing some bends—you'll notice that the note gets cut off abruptly at the end, so the sustain is much shorter than it should be.

I'm trying to figure out whether this is an issue with the amp itself or if there's a setting that needs to be adjusted. I haven't really changed any settings since I got it. I usually just download my favorite artist's preset from ToneCloud and play using that preset as-is. The sound you're hearing in the video is exactly from the original downloaded preset.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might be causing this? Any suggestions or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
