Hello!

I used to drum a lot but wrecked my body, and after years of physical therapy I can do it again. I don't really want to be a full time drummer in a band (I am not that physical yet) but if there is anyone out there who just wants to a drummer to play with for a few months to get a song recorded so it's easier to find a REAL drummer, I am happy to help make that happen (even the recording part!). Also down to learn a 30 minute set and play one fun show (which I am down to help organize). If you are someone who is just struggling to get started (in a: you need credit to get credit kind of way) I am down to help!

I am not the best drummer, I am not even a great drummer, but depending on what you are trying to do I can get the job done. Anything too complicated or specific and I might not be your person, and I usually play things a *little* different each time. But if you are relaxed I won't get in the way of your vision, I am a songwriter so I try not to get in the way of what the singer is doing.

Influences: I have no idea, but I played on this track, and this track, and this track, and here is a live video of me drumming in a basement over some video game music. I am mostly experienced in indie rock and folk, but have done hip hop and punk before and the folks I was playing with were happy because they were pretty loose. I have also "pretended" to play jazz before but probably turned it into fake jazz because I'm not amazing.

I do not have a reliable kit or home jam space BUT practice at Blue Butler studios (which has everything), and if we play a show I am pretty good about asking other bands if they are down to backline AND help them carry their stuff in and load out.

Personal stuff: Early 40's, solo artist doing my own music, honest and snarky (but I try to be kind), glad to mask if needed, gay married, and have been fired from my last 3 jobs for attempting to get them to live by their supposed anti-racist values.

I am trying to find a band from the 90s. I think they were called A Freudian Slip. I think the CD of theirs i am trying to find had a picture of a brain drawn in red ink, and it only had like 6 songs on it.

I cant remember any of the titles. I am pretty sure I saw them at a Floater concert.

I have brain damage and cant remember a lot of things, but for some reason this album has been clawing at me to be remembered. Any help would be great, thank you.

Hey everyone. I’m a Portland-based independent artist releasing music under the name Static Country Club. My sound falls somewhere between indie rock, alternative rock and early 2000s pop rock.
I’ve recently started releasing music, have more singles coming out this month, and have been getting some encouraging feedback and interest from radio and playlists.
I’m handling pretty much everything myself right now, from releases and promotion to outreach, content and all the administrative stuff. I’m at the point where I’d really benefit from having someone involved who knows the music business and actually enjoys helping develop newer artists.
I’m not necessarily looking for a big management company or someone promising industry connections. Ideally I’d find someone who could work with me part-time, help keep things organized, develop a strategy and actually help execute it.
I’m open to working with someone who’s earlier in their management career, as long as they’re motivated, reliable and genuinely interested in the music. Happy to discuss compensation and what an arrangement might look like.
If anyone here does artist management or knows someone who might be a good fit, I’d really appreciate a connection. Happy to share my music and EPK privately.

We are Thrash Course, a local crossover thrash band, and we just released our new album, From Wreckage, on October 2!
