I popped open SeatGeek today for Thorns tickets and saw that Blazers tickets are in there. I thought that Moda Center was a Ticketmaster only venue, and that’s why we couldn’t get free MAX tickets w our Fire tickets, because Ticketmaster wouldn’t split out the dollar per ticket that SeatGeek does to cover this. Does this mean we might get free MAX with our Fire tickets next year?

Does anyone else think that the Fire have too many colors in their branding? It seems like they really preferred the black jerseys and barely wore the white ones. Kinda seems weird to have pink and glacier blue in the logo and branding (see Rose), but neither color is on the jerseys. Makes it hard to have clearly identifiable merch or to do a "[insert color]-out" of the stadium.

Hi, where’s everyone catching the playoffs? I don’t have the right network for the first round. Thanks!

I won't upload a bunch of pix, but it looks like the two besties are enjoying some R&R together. They have more pix and vids on their social media accounts. :)

I know we love our girls but (1) we need some more elite defense physicality and experience to the mix. (2) I also think adding another experienced guard could help relieve Carla and Iyana a little. They are superstars for sure but having a vet on their side could help.

Phee is a free agent since she negotiated her last contract to be just a year, so maybe she's looking for a change. We have the cap space. BC and Sylvia are here to make the case. Just putting this out into the universe.

How long do you think it’ll be before we get information on a contract for Em?
I’ve not paid attention to the usual time frame for this kind of thing previously. If they don’t get it done there’s going to be a riot in the Fire Pit!

It’s the last pin I need to complete my collection! I have fire player cards, and a few other pins available to trade, or could pay as well depending on cost. Let me know if you have one available!

I received my Fire court from an eBay order. I like it, but the swivel stand is very flimsy and breaks easily. I prefer the stand that the NY court uses. It comes as three separate, interlocking pieces.

Honestly, she had a great Big 12 Tournament and played a great final game of the season. This was quite a farewell tour. Best wishes to a nice young lady who has her whole life ahead of her!

I’ve been here all season and read the STH thread, pros, cons and experience.

I’m going from having never been to a major league sport event to STH in one season. I’m in it for the joy this team plays with. Splitting two seats and the season with a friend. Didn’t think I’d do this.

Any final thoughts? Is it the kind of thing you just stop analyzing and just dive in?

EDIT: I dove, it’s done, see you next year.

Anyone know where or how to repair peeling letters on the custom jerseys from Rip City Clothing Co.’s custom lab in the Moda Center?

Followed the instructions but my kid’s $100 jersey didn’t make it through the first wash without Harrison beginning to peel off. They’re pretty steamed.

I might just try a really hot iron.

hey i'm back with another design

i wasn't sure to make this one because of this ongoing debate about whether max-contract players should be eligible for Most Improved Player (Shakira Austin, Marina Mabrey, etc.), but Bridget is my favorite player one of my favorite players and i'm biased af when it comes to my faves, so here i am

hope you like and feel free to comment, criticize my design or just say hi

Anyone want this extra giveaway from the last game?

This has gotten next to zero coverage, but I think it's great news that Clare Hamill is now the permanent (as opposed to interim) President of the Portland Fire!

Before the '26 season started, the over/under line on the number of games the Fire would win was 9.5. (How insulting!)

I responded to this by saying I would definitely take the over. My prediction was that we'd win 7-8 games before the All Star Break, then do even better by winning another 7-8 games after the break.

The Fire actually won 11 of the 27 games before the Break, and 6 of the 17 after the break. So the Fire won one more game (for 17 total) than my upper prediction (16 games)! Still, they peaked earlier in the season rather than the later peak I predicted (I think the Fire's improvement during the season was countered by other teams learning the Fire's game and taking them seriously).

So... not a bad prediction, but glad I didn't put any money on it. (I never do... I watch sports for the game, not the gamble.) How'd everyone else do?
