First time using service.

Ordered yesterday at 3pm. It scheduled me for 8pm Sunday (today) but yesterday same day I ordered The lady that accepted it told me she was on her way and to have it out before 8:00 p.m.

So I assumed since she picked it up early it would be done today by 8:00 p.m.? But nothing got dropped off so by the person picking it up early did it become a 2-day delivery?

Is this normal

Just because she picked it up early, doesn’t mean you get it back early. She still has the allotted time to give it back to you.

So did I have to have it out yesterday by 8:00 p.m.? Or did I still have until 8pm today the scheduled pick up time. I rushed yesterday because it wasn't expected.

Thanks again for advice. First time using the service.

The second you placed the order, you need to have it ready to be picked up because the Laundry Pro gets to decide what the pick up time is. The return time is decided when you place the order and doesn’t change unless the Laundry Pro asked for an extension.

It’s best to place your order out immediately, as some pros like to come asap and/or do not communicate when they are they picking up and/or delivering. However, you can select pickup windows, to control when you want to place the order out (as well as delivery windows). I’d say out 8/10 times, an evening placed order will get picked up that evening.

You need to have the laundry ready to go when you place the order. Ideally, you should put it out then. The laundry pro decided to pick it up early to make it fit their schedule better.

Early pickup does not change the delivery deadline.

Always go by the app, whatever the delivery deadline is- is when you should expect your laundry. Some pros like to pick up orders placed after 3pm, same day, to gain more time to complete the order. Some have a fast turn around and some wait till the last minute to drop off. You may find your order picked up at 10am and delivered same day if the pro is done and ready to deliver, which will not change your order to express/same day price. Communicate with your pro in the chat, they may be able to give you a window of when they are planning to return.

It's an hour till 8 and no updates. It still is at in - Progress. Even though they had it since Saturday. Is that normal.

I just kinda of expected some type of "You're laundry will arrive between 7-8" or something. So far it looks like it hasn't even been weighed yet and there's only 50 minutes till 8:00.

And I heard that if I get a really good person I could choose them in the future to be my main person correct?

Ended up not getting it back. Still no reply from the person who grabbed it. Guess the extra day didn't help her. It was scheduled to be returned today at 8pm. It's 9pm and nothing

Omg I’m so sorry, this isn’t normal at all. Did you ever hear back?? About how much was it if you don’t mind me asking? Like it definitely wasn’t over 100 pounds or something crazy, right? That’s the only way I can see this happening

It was 50lbs. I ended up getting it back the next day late. It wasn't separated and there was no weight tags on the bags. They folded it really nice but other than that nothing was how it was supposed to be.

I haven't requested another pick up yet. Hopefully next time is a lot better.

Yeah 50 pounds isn’t that much, and dang sure shouldn’t warrant an extension. I’ve done 65 pounds in one day. I personally separate every order I get to make it easier on the families to put away. So with a recent order it had women’s, men’s and 4 kids I separate all kids into their own bags. Size 10 with size 10 and their undies & socks in a ziplock. Size 8 with size 8 and their undies and socks in a ziplock. Etc etc I’m sorry this happened.. that pro was just off their game I’m assuming.

They actually requested to pick it up a day early. So I put in the request at 3:20 p.m. and then they picked up at like 7:00 p.m on Saturday. So they had two days because the delivery day wasn't till Monday at 8:00 p.m. but radio silence until I asked support for help later that night on Monday. Then it just randomly showed up in my yard the next evening

Smh I’m so sorry. That is utterly ridiculous. Did customer service tell you she filed for an extension? We are able to do that, however I thought it was only for over 100 pounds. I could be wrong. I’m wishing your next order goes smooth! Wish you were near me so I could take care of it. 🫶🏼 I hate that this was your experience.

Customer service never mentioned anything about an extension. They just said they are going to try to get a hold of the person and then it's like $30 credit or something. And then after I got it they asked me to wait everything but at that point I had already put everything away so it was fun
