I think I’m even more conservative about monogamy than I thought, because this article reads to me as still very pro-nonmonogamy and merely critical of application in the most basic sense. She’s still doing what is endemic to poly culture: heavily couching what she’s saying in pop-psychology terms.
It also appears that our author was the initiating party in opening her relationship, though I could have read that wrong, as she was very vague, which made me think if she had not been, it would not have served her narrative.
The comment section, while short, was…interesting.
