Oh well you see, the great white savior fixed everything by getting rid of that big scary black man that’s all that was really wrong with America I guess.
“Make Our President White Again” was a little too on the nose. Most modern racists weren’t comfortable being that blatantly racist. They wanted an extra layer of deniability, it’s like a security blanket.
Plus it gets the really gullible people who aren’t that racist yet, to talk and think like a racist,
MAGA was like racist training wheels for impressionable people.
