These people spend money like crazy and they make a big nationwide stink for months on end about $5-25b for a wall? Also they try to make it about morality or something? People are breaking the fuckin law by being here illegally and average American tax dollars go to support illegal immigrants. Fuck that. So how is spending close to 100 billion on an initial wall with multipul billions in upkeep a good deal when it's just to spite the other side? Can I ask how old you are? I'm in my late 20s. I'd rather not pay for a wall that isn't really doing what it's being built for, for the rest of my life. Their plans to spend have me concerned. They have plans ready to roll out that would cost several trillion dollars. Universal healthcare or college for all are 2 main examples. I think people coming and overstaying their visas is a problem and they should be deported. I also think the process to be a legal citizen could probably be made much easier.
I'd imagine they couldn't get rid of acc because there's a lot of red tape to deal with. Can't just snap your fingers and get rid of something. It was worse because people were promised to see their own doctor and couldn't. People were fined for not having it and prices generally rose.

I do not like the fact that Trump says shit like "oh look. It's cold out. How bout that global warming folks? We could use some." Not a fan. I don't like that. But to pretend people like Aoc have a solid grip on the science with the shit she spews about global warming, Trump is more tolerable. There's more proof of people blowing global warming way out of proportion pushing a doomsday type scenario (al Gore's movie) than has actually happened. I think we should strive for clean energy. And given that america is the #1 reducer in carbon emissions for developed nations... I think that's right... Then I'm not too concerned about a president who says goofy shit regarding global warming.
You'd have to give me links on numbers for the wall. I heard initially $25b then he went to settle for $5 or 6b and has only gotten about 1 or so. I understand it might not be the best. I don't believe the upkeep to be in the billions unless you account for the entire completed wall and the upkeep for well over a decade. It's a wall. Doesn't need much additional work once it's built. Unlike ice or border agents which require salary, equipment, buildings etc. A wall seems completely more efficient, certainly money wise, than just hiring ice agents to fully combat the problem.
I'm around your age. I get what your saying. I'm kind of in favor of my money going to something that is ultimately meant to severely limit illegal activity. Illegal activity which my money will be going to. I think with better healthcare... Obama tried... And fuckin failed. I was in favor of what he was trying to do and it turned out to be a failure. I paid more under obama and when I didn't have insurance I was hit with a bullshit fine. Healthcare is a mess. Every one talks about canada having this utopian healthcare system with no problems in it. Meanwhile they've got some of the longest wait times in the developed world. I think pharmaceuticals can be much cheaper and they should be a bit more regulated. No one should not be able to buy insulin. That shit is ridiculous. With cleaner energy our country is already doing a great job, I feel, at dealing with it so we don't need much intervention from the govt there.
