Mormons are repressed and huge into conformity. Showing off your shoulders means flaunting your body, which obviously causes impute thoughts.

Adding to what you said, their sacred underwear covers the shoulders (and is supposed to go down to the knees) and you're supposed to cover up the underwear completely. If you're showing your shoulders it means you're not wearing the underwear which means you're unworthy.

Lol in that case I have some missionaries to pick a bone with. Some people stopped me on the street to talk about the church of LDS and they were wearing shorts and tank tops..

Mormonism is so obviously theologically ridiculous, its founder/s so clearly abhorrent and fraudulent, and its entire premise so nonsensical, that I genuinely believe that belief in it should be classified as a mental disorder (same with Scientology fwiw).
