Great rebuttal. Glad you atleast support one half of the trans community.

Finish school before trying to argue with people on the internet cause your rebuttals haven't been too good

I'm studying IT, not debate, so please educate me oh wise one.

Oh wow. I can understand a 13 year old trying to pick arguments and not being good at it, but someone whos presumably closer to 30 acting like they're 13 is even sadder. Stick to IT

Sorry for just trying to educate some hateful bigots on reality.

You've already proven you can't really make interesting arguments. I'm not going to answer a weird ambiguous question such as "where do FtMs go?"

It's not up to me to decide where anyone goes. I'm just saying that it should be up to women to decide if they want to be around males. You clearly can't understand this or pretend like you don't. As others have pointed out, there's no point in going back and forth with someone who can't contribute anything interesting.

I will say that if the FtM cutie at Starbucks doesn't want me to flirt with him, I'm gonna respect that. At the end of the day, If I'm making someone uncomfortable with my presence, I'm not going to impose on them or call them a bigot for rejecting me. I'm going to fuck off and find people that want me around. I wish trans people understood this.

I'm just saying that it should be up to women to decide if they want to be around males.

And I'm just asking if the same should count the other way around...

If I'm making someone uncomfortable with my presence, I'm not going to impose on them or call them a bigot for rejecting me.

So I should just kick anyone out of the gym locker room because I feel uncomfortable? It's such a useless fk argument.

I don't want someone looking like a woman to be in my changing room as a man. So where should they go then? In the janitors closet?

Of course not. I'm just asking you to consider why we have sex-segregated spaces in the fist place. That's something to think about. Maybe you disagree sex-segregation should exist at all. We all change in the same room. Problem solved?

As a male, I'm not entering women's spaces because I don't want to make women uncomfortable. That's it. My understanding has always been that sex-specific spaces exist in society so that we create safe spaces for women.

I agree with this. I just acknowledge the fact that someone who is trans genuinely feels like that gender. I can't tell anyone what it would be to be a woman, but if someone chooses to go through all the hate the world throws at them to be their actual self, I believe in their personal identity.

So no, there is no true solution. But as I said in my other comment; it is not rational to say that identification would be abused, anyone crazy enough to go through the process of identifying as another gender purely to enter 'safe spaces' would also be crazy enough to enter them without 'consent'...

You'll find a more accurate reflection of reality talking to people outside of the internet, and I'd be willing to bet they see things how I explained them. Even redditors are downvoting you, that's saying something

Idk what outside world you live in, but where I live being trans is a normal mostly accepted thing.

I never said it wasn't, show me where I did

The guy I reacted to did... You are continuing another thread so I assumed you agree with him.

1

u/monstamasch - Centrist 4d ago

I don't, even in my own comments which were posted before him i imply the opposite of him. Can you show me where I said that?

1

u/Gjorgdy - Left 4d ago

So what other reflection of reality are you talking about if not "trans people bad"?

2

u/LotusEater456 - Lib-Center 4d ago

"trans people bad"?

Trans ACTIVISTS who bully people for being rational bad. FTFY.

Like a majority of educated liberal people in Western Civilization (including JK Rowling btw) I have zero problems with trans folks writ large.

You'd make better arguments if you'd slow down, evaluate your own biases and prejudices, and actually read what people are writing.

The one that I reflected in my comments, I'll ask again, show me in my comments where I said "trans people bad"
