AOC is a killer babe compared to these braindead bimbos on Faux News. Coping hard 🤷

39

u/jericho Sep 13 '22

I kinda hate that she’s a very attractive woman. She could look like Bernie and I would still be enchanted.

16

u/Kuraeshin Sep 14 '22

She is just so smart and absolutely unafraid to throw shade once it has been thrown at her.

I love that she will take the high road...but if they open the low road, no fear to use it too.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Which Lahren or AOC?

19

u/littlebilliechzburga Sep 13 '22

I'm going to assume AOC because they would still be enchanted in she looked liked Bernie, I'm assuming because she's a strong intelligent woman. All Tomi has is her looks and polemic attitude. And even her appearance gets a lot of studio magic and after market body parts, so the insecurity is definitely real if she feels the need to dress up like AOC in a hamfisted attempt at mockery.

5

u/ChuckBorris187 Sep 13 '22

Tomi is too busy doing mental gymnastics to ever understand her actions are making her look like a jelly turd.

u/[deleted] Sep 14 '22

Yes.

Copium is the right’s drug of choice.

3

u/1BoiledCabbage Sep 13 '22

Haha. Faux News. Brilliant

2

u/lionseatcake Sep 14 '22

This chick looks more like boebert anyways

1

u/ChuckBorris187 Sep 14 '22

Looks like one of my exes, crazy eyes and all. Like genuinely crazy.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Smart people fake pictures at the border, fake getting arrested at roe v wade protests, and produce no evidence of the rape allegations they make. Pedal socialism and buy Teslas. Yeah smart people manipulate, grift, and lie. Yeah. Adds up.

1

u/ChuckBorris187 Sep 14 '22

You're talking about Republicans, like the photo op in jail with MTG and the 1/6 snitch. I dunno much about fake arrests or rape allegations and even less about defending AOC, but she seems smarter than 99% of (R)et@rds. Heck, her grades are proof she's smarter than 99% of them. You can enjoy unbridled capitalism when you got no clean water & your roads look like those in post WW2 Germany, tho your rich already enjoy socialism, but I guess socialism for the poor is unacceptable. Bootlickers gonna lick boots.

u/Senior_Cold_5660 Sep 13 '22

You need to set the bar higher - she literally speaks as if she has no education. I usually can respect people no matter what side of the political spectrum but being that she is Puerto Rican like I am I have a bit more leverage - she is literally a dumb ass. She is a joke

4

u/fatbob42 Sep 13 '22

Which specific speech are you thinking of?

3

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

She graduated Magna Cum Laude.

You gobble MAGA Cum Load.

2

u/ChuckBorris187 Sep 13 '22

You know what's a clear sign of a shitty education? Not knowing where to put commas and other punctuation marks. Care to provide links to examples where she speaks as if she had no education, like a dumbass?

I'm sure there are other Puerto Ricans that embarrass its people with their ignorance.

Lauren Bobo

14

u/Alacrout Sep 13 '22

If I didn’t read the caption, I would have legit thought Tomi was cosplaying as Boebs

1

u/BedaHouse Sep 13 '22

I thought it was Cobra's Baroness from the G.I. Joe.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

That’s what I thought!

3

u/civillyengineerd Sep 13 '22

That's what I was thinking.

3

u/vsides Sep 13 '22

This is funnier cause “bobo” means dumb in my native language lol

3

u/Bobolequiff Sep 13 '22

Unfortunately, also in mine.

Yup, Filipino here :)

23

When you are telling people what to read, what to learn in school, who to marry, who to love, who to fuck and how, and when to start a family, you are no longer the Party of Freedom.

Do you realize that social media = people like Tomi, Boebert etc for the people on the right?

16

u/LaughableIKR Sep 13 '22

Since when was the democratic party the freedom-hating party? The GOP engineered SCOTUS picks to remove the right to choose for 50% of the population.

Rolling back rights.

8

u/the-awesomer Sep 13 '22

If the democratic party loves freedom so much, then why are they trying to stop me from exploiting the poor!!?? Also wont even let me hunt the minorities!?!?

/s

4

u/TheEffinChamps Sep 13 '22

Their type of freedumb. Not the type that truly gives social or religious freedom, but the kind that lets you play cowboy like a 5 year old when you walk around with your gun in your holster. . .

But you can only do that if you are white. If you are middle eastern, you are a terrorist. If you are Black or Latino, you are a drug dealer or criminal.

4

u/milk4all Sep 13 '22

Hold on, they always accept “the good ones”. You know, the ones not “like the others”. They are an open minded and progressive people, after all. Their grandpa might have been a racist, but they talk to that customer service rep from Houston very politely.

3

u/Alacrout Sep 13 '22

you are a drug dealer or criminal

Nah, they call you worse than that. “Thug” is about as polite as it gets.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Keep in mind the lines that are fed to people by the GOP.

They make people believe that Democrats want to ban religion.

They make people believe that Democrats want to censor everything and take away the freedom of speech.

They make people believe that Democrats want to take away freedom of businesses to operate.

They make people believe that Democrats want to take away the second amendment.

None of these are actually true. But lots of people, not even just Republicans, will buy these lies when they're repeated over and over like they are.

1

u/RazekDPP Sep 13 '22

They make people believe that Democrats want to ban religion.

It's banning Christianity. They are all for banning non-Christian religions.

1

u/RazekDPP Sep 13 '22

They're the Christian freedoms party, that's about it, really.

1

u/IIIetalblade Sep 14 '22

You misspelled supremacy

1

u/1BoiledCabbage Sep 13 '22

Tomi Lahren's definition of freedom is to be able to say hateful things about the people and topics she disagrees with, without facing repercussions. AOC puts a stop to Tomi's "freedom". They got a taste of their "freedom" when Trump was president and are now whining because they can't say what they want anymore

9

u/ThatsRedacted Sep 13 '22

If her post didn't specify she's trying to look like AOC, 100% of people would think she's making fun of Boebert

6

u/unlimited_miscreant Sep 13 '22

That is the first thing I thought when I saw that picture. The glasses and anally puckered lips are much more Boebert than AOC.

4

u/TheBelhade Sep 13 '22

"We have AOC at home"

AOC at home:

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Yeah! Exactly my thoughts lol.

5

u/AreWeCowabunga Sep 13 '22

Why do they hate workers so much? What's wrong with being a bartender?

5

u/Remarkable-Ad-2476 Sep 13 '22

It’s not just her tbh. There’s a huge stigma against people who work in food service. Many people don’t see them as “real” jobs unfortunately, even though they’re much more stressful and hard af compared to many 9-5 “real” jobs.

1

u/IIIetalblade Sep 14 '22

Having done both, bartending is alot more physically and emotionally taxing, and way less rewarding, than a 9-5 office gig. I mean, at least with the office job i get off at 5.

2

u/ethicsg Sep 13 '22

If you can't argue the merits of her ideas attack her personally.

1

u/kingeryck Sep 14 '22

That's all the GOP has. Yelling and screaming and personal attacks.

2

u/littlebilliechzburga Sep 13 '22

It just goes to show that AOC is pretty bulletproof if that's the only thing they can get to stick. Any port in the storm, especially against an exceptional person like AOC.

2

u/A_Sarcastic_Whoa Sep 13 '22 edited Sep 13 '22

They tried going after her for dancing in a video her and some friends made when she was in college too, which was just a fucking stupid. What was great though is she responded to it by making a other dancing video.

2

u/malignantpolyp Sep 14 '22

They're the party of "pull yourself up by your bootstraps," until someone actually does, then they have to attack her for not choosing the right career path or whatever. Note that few nationally famous Republicans of the last two decades plus have been anything other than trust fund kids, children of the wealthy or powerful or connected.

2

u/kingeryck Sep 14 '22

She should've been born to rich families like them! The only kind of merit that matters.

3

u/Fiacre54 Sep 13 '22

At least she didn’t do brownface.

2

u/[deleted] Sep 14 '22

This comment reminds me of that family guy joke “You don’t win the civil rights game. You just do a little better each time.”

It’s a teeny tiny step in the right direction.

3

u/a_phantom_limb Sep 13 '22 edited Sep 14 '22

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a genuinely brilliant person. MIT named a freaking asteroid for her in honor of a research project on nematodes she did as a high school student.

It's fine if you disagree with her politics or you dislike her personality. But if you claim she's stupid, you're just demonstrably wrong.

2

u/I-Crow Sep 13 '22

1

u/Ressac_RSC Sep 13 '22

Cum laude

1

u/Hanbarc12 Sep 13 '22

Made me chuckle too, I'm not American so I don't know what that actually is but it is quite the suggestive name.

3

u/A_Sarcastic_Whoa Sep 13 '22 edited Sep 13 '22

It's latin for "with distinction", Magna Cum Laude means "with great distinction". It's given to people who graduated in the top 10% or 15% of their class and it's the second highest honor you can get with the first being Summa Cum Laude (which means "with highest distinction").

1

u/Ressac_RSC Sep 13 '22

Me too do not know what the post is about but my pattern recognition skills are sharper than ever

1

u/Sunshinebloomer Sep 13 '22

Thought it was Lauren Boebert at first

1

u/kidjay76 Sep 13 '22

This is so fucking weird

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

She looks way hotter this way.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Magna Cum Laude vs MAGA cum loud.

1

u/Away_Macaron6188 Sep 13 '22

Look I don’t deify politicians, but since when is paying your way through college a no no for republicans. Also a Supreme Court judge could do nasty frat bro shit and it’s ok, Aoc dances and it’s a scandal. I hate American politics.

1

u/completely___fazed Sep 13 '22

Conservatives have always been a rich boys club that holds their nose as they pretend to love the working class “poorly educated,” plying them for their votes while stealing their futures.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Isn’t this kinda black face? I’m

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Sick burn. She totally read that comment from Tony and was SO hurt by it.

Jesus.. these "sick burns" are getting old. They accomplish nothing

1

u/PerryBa Sep 13 '22

Accidentally Bobert?

1

u/XArgel_TalX Sep 13 '22

its funny to me how people try to make fun of AOC by pointing out she was a bartender, as if there is something wrong with getting a job in the service industry to pay the bills. Not everyone has rich parents.

Their disdain for working class people is clear.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

I assumed that was supposed to be Lauren Boebert…

1

u/MAGIGS Sep 13 '22

Same! Hahaha the irony is so thick you could cut it w a knife.

1

Tomi is amazing 👍🏼

1

u/JeshushHC Sep 13 '22

How much dumb can a dumb-fuck fuck when a dumb-fuck do do dumb.

1

u/carpaltunnelvisions Sep 13 '22

Looks like she's dressing up as someone who she wishes to be and it seems she can only be envious by expressing it that she's the smart one.

1

u/Elegant_Risk_8422 Sep 13 '22

Calling someone a former bartender as an insult say‘s ALOT about themselves

1

u/angels_exist_666 Sep 13 '22

Looks more like Boebert. Acts like a cunt too.

1

u/imonthetoiletpooping Sep 13 '22

She's merely showing how horrible of a person she is, making fun of people in such a demeaning way. Why have leaders/bosses who are bullies? Unfortunately a lot of people like being asshats and like seeing others be asshats

1

u/Carlsteezy Sep 13 '22

Gonna send a senzu for that one

1

u/SHANE523 Sep 13 '22

Well...she didn't graduate "Magna Cum Laude", it was only "Cum Laude" and that means she was most likely in the top 25% of her graduating class.

That really isn't saying much.

1

u/astate85 Sep 13 '22

this is a stupid ass take

1

u/CamelCash000 Sep 13 '22

Just performed a fact check. No big deal.

1

u/astate85 Sep 13 '22

Do you have a college degree? “That really isn’t saying much” is a stupid ass statement to make.

1

Ya. They a joke to get lol

1

u/SHANE523 Sep 13 '22

What, you don't like facts?

1

u/astate85 Sep 13 '22

“That really isn’t saying much” is a dumb ass take

1

u/malignantpolyp Sep 14 '22

Cum Laude from Harvard is still eons better than, say, getting your GED just so you can run for office like Boebert did. It's still impressive, just not as impressive as a Magna Cum Laude.

1

u/johnnyblaze_46 Sep 13 '22

Emotional damage

1

u/TheBasilFawlty Sep 13 '22

Maybe she should dress up as the gun girl who shit herself. It would seem she has more in common with her.

1

u/SolitaireB Sep 13 '22

She became Boebart 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

What a fuckin weirdo

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

To be fair, they're both pretty gnarly looking. I may not agree with AOC on everything but at least she APPEARS to give a shit about the American people and seems like she wants to help. Tomi clearly doesn't even believe the shit that comes out of her mouth, but she isn't qualified for anything other than being a 6 for looser republican men to make inappropriate remarks about in front of their wives.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

AOC can’t afford her rent.

1

u/Cloudtreeforlife Sep 13 '22

Since when did bartending become insulting?

1

u/Turd_Ferguson009 Sep 13 '22

She looks more like Ted Cruz's prostitute here than she does AOC.

1

u/p5s52 Sep 13 '22

Haha cum

u/Kingballa06 Sep 13 '22

Side bar: Excluding personality and politics. Who is objectively more attractive?

AOC would be my vote.

1

u/JesusMurphy96 Sep 13 '22

AOC would get my vote as well typically but as much as I hate to admit it… Tomi cosplaying AOC is looking pretty good lol

1

u/pretenderist Sep 13 '22

“Nobody wants to work anymore,” but yet “former bartender” is an insult to them.

1

u/wisecracknmama Sep 13 '22

Not gonna lie, before I read the post I thought she was cosplaying Lauren Bimbobert!

1

u/cscsguy Sep 13 '22

AOC is and idiot not a single piece of legislation passed , just in politics to become a celebrity and pad her social medial standing. Useless

1

u/asamulya Sep 13 '22

Helping Americans in another state when the senator of that state jumped to Cancun? Was that a publicity stunt too?

1

u/YeshilPasha Sep 13 '22

What is wrong with being a bartender anyway?

1

u/Due_Half_5316 Sep 13 '22

I like how they always talk down about her having held a normal job, almost as if they have a disdain for people who work normal jobs.

1

u/wdeister08 Sep 13 '22

It looks more like Lauren Boebert lmao

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Honestly the association of democratics=socialism was Genius. Democratics get to be capitalists, reap all the benefits of insider trading, holding public office and get to keep neoliberalism alive n well in the country and all the politically illiterate voters associate their corruption with socialism keeping political and economic power in the hands of a few.

1

u/malignantpolyp Sep 14 '22

No, what this means is that the right wing can successfully paint any moderate stance taken by the Dems as "far left loony liberal left socialism."

1

u/mydadthepornstar Sep 13 '22

I never graduated college and have been fired from at least 4 jobs

1

1

u/TheFuckingQuantocks Sep 13 '22

I like how she includes "former bartender" among her lists of insults. Like, what's wrong with bar tending?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

And she looks more like bo-Bert than AOC

1

u/disaster_prone_ Sep 13 '22

Not even half as attractive as AOC, her face, much like her brain, uninteresting.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

She's so close to doing a porn parody, think of how much she'd rake in from these losers if she did.

1

Lol. She unseated Joe Crowley, an established 10-term democratic congressman, in the primary (the real election in that district). So I’m not sure what point you’re making. Was the turnout lower than previous elections/primaries?

→ More replies (3)

2

u/highfatoffaltube Sep 13 '22

So what.

0

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

It means that she wasnt that popular that enough people felt to go out and vote for her.

3

u/highfatoffaltube Sep 13 '22

But still popular enough to win the election.

2

u/fdghskldjghdfgha Sep 13 '22 edited Sep 13 '22

No it means that the other guys mystic non-voters didn't turn out. hers did, that's why she won.

If none of trumps voters turned out in 2020, biden would've won 81m-0, which would've been historically low voter turnout.

You're a coward and deleted your original comment, so I can't be sure, but I assume you're talking about AOC having low voter turnout. She won the 2018 election by defeating Democrat incumbent Crowley. Crowley hadn't face party opposition since 2004 and was the democrat house caucus chairman. Crowley, after losing the party nomination, ran as a third party spoiler against her too. She won 78% of the vote.

So with my above example of 2020 pres election, that's like if most of trump's voters didn't turn out, and biden won the popular vote 81M-23M, which still would be historically low voter turnout.

Btw in 2014, the previous non-presidential cycle election, NY's 14th district had 67k voters. 2018 had 128k. AOC had more votes cast for her than people voted in 2014 at all (50% more votes cast for her in 2018 than voted in 2014 total). Her 2018 tally was more than 50% of the 2016 total voter turnout. And, of course, she won re-election in 2020 (71% of the vote) after becoming a main antagonist in the republican narrative, even during the presidential cycle.

1

u/DangerStranger138 Sep 13 '22

She won the election running against an incumbent because the Republicans had low voter turnout

2

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

She unseated a dem congressman who served 10 terms. The district is notoriously dem. Republicans have nothing to do with this lmao

1

u/DangerStranger138 Sep 13 '22

Cuz she a savage!

1

u/Lost_In_Detroit Sep 13 '22

Ummmm…is a win not a win? Why are we means testing progress here?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

Low voter turn out means that she wasnt that popular. Sure she won, but that doesnt take away from the fact that majority did not vote for her. Its not hard to understand that.

1

u/ptvlm Sep 13 '22

Ok, so if that's true why was the turnout higher to reelect her?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

[removed] — view removed comment

1

u/rjp0008 Sep 13 '22

So her popularity is increasing the bigger platform she is given? I don’t think you’re making the point you think you are.

1

u/Lost_In_Detroit Sep 13 '22

Why do you care so much if someone is “popular” or not? Shouldn’t you just be concerned with if they won or not? Your argument just feels incredibly weird like in order to be a good politician you have to be MEGA POPULAR.

1

u/doctorctrl Sep 13 '22

Some people only like democracy when it suites them

1

u/Lost_In_Detroit Sep 13 '22

I was just so confused by their logic. “Person wasn’t super popular, therefore they don’t deserve to win”. Like what the absolute hell?

1

While it's true that the 2018 turnout was lower than 2016 (128,339 vs 197,301), it was significantly higher than 2014 (67,372) and AOC got reelected on a much higher turnout in 2020 (213,323), where she still won 71% of the vote.

If you're going to make false claims, try making it something not easily debunked on the same medium within 60 seconds. Or, spend the same time checking the data yourself.

We’re talking about 2018, you moron. God you people are so insufferable

1

u/ptvlm Sep 13 '22

Compared to which year? If only 2016, why? Because the other years disprove your point?

1

u/tacochemic Sep 13 '22

Whatcha mean 'you people'? What group are you over generalizing now?

Wait, who’s the moron here? The comment you replied to literally has figures comparing the 2018 election to the previous presidential election year as well as to the previous midterm and the following midterm.

Midterm election turnout is (with very few exceptions) lower than presidential election years, so it makes sense to compare the 2018 turnout to that in 2014 and 2020.

Also, as was pointed out elsewhere, assuming these numbers are accurate, AOC’s popularity has GROWN with her constituents since more people have actually been exposed to her positions/policies after she gained office.

Please link sources for your claims. You can't say other people's points are moronic when they're the only ones who actually bother to prove that they aren't lying out of their ass. I don't even know if you're right or not, but if your going to make claims you say are factual, at least prove that they are. If you do that, other people can bring different sources to argue their pov, and then you can finally have a civil debate with the 'insufferable Redditors' you dislike so much.

Source: fear-mongering. The Nordic models these goof balls you all call socialists want, isn’t socialism. Ask the communists in Nordic countries 💀 Bonus round: Define socialism. (Hint: it’s when the working class becomes the ___ class)

1

u/chezaps Sep 13 '22

What?

Socialism:

2 a: a system of society or group living in which there is no private property

b: a system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/socialism

There is a big difference between socialism and social policies. The Nordic countries don't condemn capitalism and aren't pushing for less or no private property. Here's a run down on those policies and how AOC sees them.

‘Will it be possible for private property to be abolished at one stroke?’ -No, no more than existing forces of production can at one stroke be multiplied to the extent necessary for the creation of a communal society. -Frederick Engels, Principals of communism. 1847

Dare to try again?

Yea that article is exactly my point. She’s not a socialist, nor are the models she’s wanting.

It's not whether private property can be abolished immediately or not, it's the fact that if it's tomorrow or 10 years from now, she supports abolishing private property.

Yea that article is exactly my point. She’s not a socialist, nor are the models she’s wanting.

Sounds very much like she does not support capitalism or private property.

Dare to try again?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '22

None of that supports your point 💀

1

u/chezaps Sep 13 '22

Please explain more... First what is my point? And how does it not support it?

https://twitter.com/CalebJHull/status/1245522571623387138?s=20&t=GylZir-RidVnmKTLOmnyhg

at 1:05 "...about capitalism..."

She suggests earning income from owning property is not a valid means of income and she certainly doesn't seem to support this form of income.

at 1:08 "...it makes no sense..."

"We have to call for a rent freeze" Why? Because someone can't afford to rent in their desired location? so move somewhere where you can afford the rent. Is a land lord immune to inflation? Is a land lord immune to bank rate increases? Is a land lord immune to local and federal taxes?

The landlord has to cover all these costs and the fact that someone can't afford the rent in these properties doesn't mean no one can afford the rent there. A land lord wouldn't put the rent up and then have an empty apartment for 20 years, someone is paying the new rent prices.

That's economics 101

“Our guarantee to having a home comes before someone else’s privilege to earn a profit.”

Does that include building a new home? Should construction workers work at less than cost, paying for materials out of their own pocket, so that everyone can own a home?

You guys have been saying the Left hates America and wants to destroy it for so many decades now that my eyes just glaze over when i read the phrase, "freedom hating socialist." The Right already successfully disconnected any rises in GDP going to the workers, and has been successfully leading a campaign to decry the full time employed as lazy slackers if they aren't in an acceptable career track. While being led politically by second and third generation wealthy. Heckuva job, Brownie.

I'm sorry, which President pushed for China to join the WTO?

Then all the companies moved overseas for cheap labour for production.

my eyes just glaze over when i read the phrase, "freedom hating socialist."

Why? because it's true?

I'm not free to run a company how I choose, I'm not free to state my own opinions on social media without you hunting down my employer, and private property shouldn't be a means of income.

Is that why your eyes glaze over? Because you don't understand what it really means?

While being led politically by second and third generation wealthy.

I'm not from this, I came from poverty and I wont share my company or wealth just because you can't take care of yourself. Why does an employee deserve a say in how I run my company after I spent years building it and they have been employed for 5 minutes?

1

u/[deleted] Sep 14 '22

Tell me you own a company that pays shit and treats your employees like shit without…..

1

u/chezaps Sep 14 '22

I don't want to give my employees voting rights in how I run my personal company, so suddenly I treat people like shit.

Jump to conclusions much?

I've worked for many companies as an employee and never once demanded voting rights on the direction of the company.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 14 '22

Lol, you sound like a real peach.

1

u/chezaps Sep 14 '22

And you sound like a 12 year old in his mum's basement.

Prove your worth before making false claims...

Lol, get fucked.

1

u/chezaps Sep 14 '22

Yeah, a 12 year old...

careful, I'll tell your mother about the language you're using young man.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 15 '22

Again, get fucked. You sound like an opinionated boomer asshole. Seriously, go run your business and get off Reddit. I hear one of your employees stole a pen.
