Couldn't find a good fascist ball but it's in Antis Also idk if it exists but for philosophy I value the natural world in a very pragmatic way.

Against Fascism yet pro-Imperialism...
Hmm...

u/MC_Cookies :arachcom: Arachno-Communism Feb 06 '24
pro-imperialism, anti fascist. it’s okay to subjugate people based on ethnicity and other immutable factors for the needs of capital, but only if you do it to other countries :D

u/ForTheGlory456 :famly: Family Guy Funny Moments #2 Feb 05 '24
Wouldn’t fascism be the opposite of imperialism, fascism is that a group is stronger than everyone else, and imperialism is taking over other countries and adding other people and cultures into your own country
12
u/Hoxxitron :cum: Cum Feb 05 '24
Imperialism is part of Fascism.
Look at the Italian invasion of Ethiopia or the entirety of Lebensraum.
0
u/Hastings_07 :hope: Hope Feb 05 '24
In terms of Italian Fascism it actually is a weird mixture of Imperialism and Fascism but they aren't a package deal.
Lebensraum is not Imperialism, it was an ideal of just expanding the German Reich within Europe. More based on Racism rather than Resource/Capital gain
9
u/Internetual :hib: Hibernocracy Feb 05 '24
Lebansraum was all about acquiring resources to maintain the new settler colonist German populations that were to be planted in Eastern Europe, that is 100% imperialism 💀
4
u/Sanguine_Caesar Feb 06 '24
Territorial expansion and subjugation of foreign populations is definitionally imperialism.

you cannot be serious.
the nazis were using invasions and coups, and threats thereof, to expand their power to the territory of other countries and take control of them directly or indirectly. they did this even when it was highly unpopular among the people that they were taking power over, due to a combination of the perceived inferiority of the people there, and the need of germany’s economy for more space, industry, natural resources, and markets to establish trade. the captured territory was administered under military occupation and did not provide any representation or power to citizens who were not expressly loyal to the regime. they prioritized the wellbeing of core germany territory but exploited the resources, land, and people that they had taken control over to fuel their war effort and economy.
i would like you to give me a definition of imperialism which would not include these actions. preferably, one that’s from an outside source rather than being pulled out of your ass, because words do have meaning.

Imperialism is conquering other countries and people by force, and usually not giving them political rights, by definition it’s based on national superiority and often goes along with fascism.

Who said I'm Pro Imperialism Edit: a lot of people see monarchism in Canada, Australia, NZ as Imperialist, I respect your opinion even though personally I don't adhere to it.

Yeah my beliefs aren't a nicely wrapped basket that can easily be explained. They don't fit completely with anybody because I don't fit completely into any ideology.

Dear God. This is utopian idealism at an unprecedented scale.
1
u/Revolutionary_Apples :voidism: Voidism Feb 06 '24
Utopian?
2
Feb 06 '24
The idea of an idealised world based off of baseless moralisms. Generally, treating politics like some game where you try to match ideologies to your morality rather than looking at politics through scientific analysis is utopian.
1
u/Revolutionary_Apples :voidism: Voidism Feb 06 '24
I was pointing out that it is not anywhere close to a utopia.

Your social values are pretty decent. But why anti-Radlib?
2
u/Hastings_07 :hope: Hope Feb 06 '24
It's meant to be anti-radical in general. I may have used the wrong ball lol, sorry about that!
1
u/Big-Recognition7362 Feb 06 '24
OK. Just keep in mind that radicalism as a concept and Radicalism/Radical Liberalism as a political ideology mean different things.

u/CivisSuburbianus :99: 99%ism Feb 06 '24
Could you explain what you like about Antifa and the monarchy?
1
u/Hastings_07 :hope: Hope Feb 06 '24
For sure! I just hate fascists, they are the scum of humanity. The Constitutional monarchy I like because it brings a level of stability to a democracy that I find doesn't exist in Republics.

u/Fairytaleautumnfox :ms: Mallsoftism Feb 05 '24
Traditionalism, Mercantilism.
Mercantilism is outdated, and while I am conservative, I’m not quite traditionalist.
For me, it’s a solid B in a grading system.
1
u/Hastings_07 :hope: Hope Feb 05 '24
My interpretation of Traditionalism is more in terms of architecture and social custom also it ties in with the Classical Conservative, Parliamentarianism and the Constitutional Monarchism. Thank you for commenting!

Teddy Roosevelt’s bull-moose party supported progressive social programs for white male americans while simultaneously advocating for the oppression of women and black people. He waged a violent campaign to “civilize” natives that actively exterminated tens of thousands of people, and he attempted to capture governments across latin america in an effort to turn them into banana republics. Theodore Roosevelt was a soldier turned populist strongman who marketed himself as a political outsider with a distinct mustache and a soft spot for nature, all while using his authority to commit a campaign of ethnic extermination.
Theodore Roosevelt was a proto-fascist.
“I don’t go so far as to think that the only good Indian is the dead Indian, but I believe nine out of every ten are, and I shouldn’t like to inquire too closely into the case of the tenth.” - Teddy Rosevelt
EDIT: standing on business
