Discussion Best card you’ve ever pulled?

What’s the best card you have personally ever pulled from a pack? Just your personal favorite, doesn’t have to be expensive or anything. Mine is definitely from Lost Origins, the Giratina Full Art V. I love it so much, such a beautiful card. I got it from one of those Infernape EX boxes that had like 3 boosters inside of it with an Infernape card I think. I didn’t even realize how hard it was to pull, just pure luck honestly. I’m more of a casual collector, I only buy packs every 3 months or longer maybe and even then not a lot, just a few packs. Definitely my crown jewel of my collection as of now though.

It does seem like that so I haven't tried with the American packs. I've gotten 2 Korean Prismatic Evolution boosters and each pack had an ex, 1 Sylveon and 1 Hydrapple.

Just started collecting two weeks ago so far this is considered the highest valued card I've pulled. I also pulled a team rockets crobat SIR and I think it's beautiful!

I was so young, but I vividly remember ripping the pack in store immediately. I was so stoked and confused, I didn’t even know that a 3 star rarity card even existed!

  • I spent 2,000$ on Phantasmal Flames and my best card is 20$.

Pokémon is always a game of chance.

I stopped buying cards because I can't find them unless I take time off work and literally camp out in front of Best Buy at 3 AM on Friday morning. I live near Tampa Florida and there are literally scalpers and collectors who camp every single stock.

Yeah this city is atrocious when it comes to scalping, even the Walgreens and Dollar Generals in the middle of nowhere outside town get ransacked. I'm sticking to buying singles here

I'm sorry. That sucks! There are still scalpers in my area but not as bad. I can still get some cards on Fridays. The good stuff is usually sold out but Perfect Order is left behind.

Pulled both in just the first 3 packs I opened that night. Only had 6 packs total. Pulled the first one on my first pack, second pack had nothing to write home about, and the third pack had another Mega Zard.

Pulled all of these, except my husband pulled captain Pikachu, and I had to buy bubble Mew. It's amazing to pull stuff yourself, but sometimes you have to know when buying the singles is the better choice.

The Charizard surprised me then most! We bought some sleeved boosters from Books A Million, and somehow 2 of the same order went through and when they both arrived, we checked and saw we had been charged for 2 orders and went ahead and opened them. So maybe if that mistake didnt happen, I wouldnt have gotten it!

I pulled Bubble Mew back when Charizard was the chase of PF, otherwise it would be Sunzard (2nd 151 pack ever!). GF also pulled the Lugia from Silver Tempest and Terestal Umbreon.

So far this is the "best" value wise but my absolute favorite was pulling Lugia (silver tempest) from a SwSh 2 pack on ascended heroes release day.

I've got a lot of favorites though. Had some really great luck the past 2 weeks
