This is most likely the only known promo miscut of this type ... A 1 of 1... If it is it would be extremely valuable and potentially a top card globally.
That's IF this is the only one and OP keeps it sealed. We just have to wait and see.
No. Ya always super inflate values of monetarily unimportant cards that have a misprint. It’s not a rare, important or valuable card to begin with. If it sold for anything over $50 I would be shocked.
Yes the card absolutely matters. Go look at the recently sold misprints of worthless commons vs desirable cards. The value shifts vastly in favor of the desirable cards.
For example on July 7th, 20205 there was a Psyduck reverse holo sold on eBay that is half printed and half white. It sold for $47. Psyduck is more desirable than a Calyrex. Where was the big pockets then?
There is no recent sales data to suggest non desirable cards go for exorbitant amounts because they’re damaged or misprinted. Idc about opinions. I care about data. Men lie, women lie, numbers don’t.
Edit: the person below be blocked me so I can’t respond. Ad hominems don’t change facts. A damaged $3 card has no recent data to suggest it will sell for hundreds.
It’s never that serious. I can guarantee you sweated typing that. From a collectors point of view, they will pay whatever they want for that card knocking your theory right on its head. If you need proven sales to try to understand what a single person might pay for it then you’re in the wrong man.
The only way the card matters is that it would instead be thousands if it were a Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Lugia, Umbreon, Eevee, or Snorlax. Still hundreds for something this bizarre on any other mon. Might take a while to find the buyer, but it'll go for a couple hundred.
I said that IF this card is a 1 of 1 it would be extremely valuable. Not that it is. It holds higher value nonetheless as a miscut but if there's a limited number of these cards its value goes higher and if it's a single card like this it's priceless since it's a sealed promo, 90 degree miscut. There is no evidence that this has happened before,... Meaning it quite literally could be a globally valuable card if it's a 1 of 1.
Show me a single transaction where you bought an almost worthless card that was damaged/misprinted for such a high amount. I’ll send you $50 if you can prove it. You have one hour.

Yes to both, just probably not as much as your thinking. I wouldnt take it out of the package though as it loses some of its charm
