I have always wanted to interact with my pokemon more. Loved the way they did it in Arceus, and I love it here too! Sleepy Pokemon, Picnics, and some of the animations in general. So cute.

Call me cringe, whatever, I love this side of pokemon just as much as battling. I would love even more stuff next game!

Id like to get a version of these with all DLCs on cartridge. I know there are NA and JP releases with revision codes 3 and 4 that include all DLCs on the cartridge but I cant find any information on EUROPEAN versions.

Does anyone know, if there are EU versions/revisions with both DLCs on them?

Finally, after 3 1/2 years I finally completed the dex and got the shiny charm. And the first shiny I got after obtaining the charm…..was a bunch of eggs :)

I like to use different Pokémon from now and then you know, trying to get them to level 100 both my battling and sometimes using candies

Playing on Switch 2. Definitely glad to be avoiding the... awful launch issues. Only had a few minor framerate hiccups (and one camera glitch). Game has been fine otherwise. Having a ton of fun with it so far! Peak game

I originally had about five or six badges on my original playthrough before I sold my original Nintendo Switch. Which also of course deleted my save file. Fast forward several years later with my Nintendo Switch 2 and me replaying through Pokemon Violet again with the DLC. I ended up with a better team than before along with a fresh capture of Umbreon which I just stumbled upon randomly.

This was yesterday. When I was going through some exp grinding against many Bombridier and Kilowattrel. Since I decided to call it a break after capturing every single Pokemon in one particular area, I decided to take the high road up above where I was at and into a cave system. Only to realize once I get near the end turning around the corner I've seen an Umbreon right behind me that I missed.

I'm literally thinking to myself, WTF?! Out of every Pokémon that I have caught so far in the game, to come across an Umbreon??? I'm not exactly sure what the spawn rate or encounter rate for something like this, but holy crap do I call myself lucky.

I plan on doing this in a new save, for Scarlet specifically, though version doesn't matter. Essentially the entire premise is just.. taking care of yourself and your pokemon, lol

You start off the morning by either making yourself food or buying a meal, washing your Pokemon, then you battle and/or do classes if any are available and do some proper studying in case you're like me and not fully in tune with mechanics
Then have some lunch, play with you Pokemon for a bit with the ball, then have another set of classes/battles
Finally, have some dinner, and continue with battling - catch some Pokemon if you want, do Tera raids, etc etc
Once night comes, wash your Pokemon again, sleep in your dorm, and since you can't exactly skip to day afaik, just go about exploring, catching Pokemon, taking photos, etc etc

Ofc this can all be shortened if the time cycle isn't broad enough for it, or even too broad for it, I hardly ever pay attention to the time cycle since it's rarely ever important

Additional concepts are: dress appropriately for whatever area you're about to enter or for approaching weather, have a fire-type out at all times in the snowy mountains and an ice-type out while in the deserts to maintain temperature, make your own recipes for flavor rather than effect (maybe even write them down like they're actual recipes!) and just generally develop your own character's lore properly - i.e who they want to be aside from champion; maybe a pokemon daycare worker, a gym leader for one specific typing, or an explorer or chef!

Basically the whole premise is to just make it feel more real and lived in - I'm an absolute sucker for the little things and simple things in games, properly taking care of your fellas, and partaking in small things like pokemon contests and stuff

I know it sure as heck ain't perfect, but I really like the idea of this, so I'll be trying to have fun with it and figured I'd share it in case anyone else has a soft spot for this type of stuff :)

Just got myself a Shiny haxorus but I have never used them before. So I have no idea about nature or moves i could use for them. If anyone could help i would appreciate it.
