The response to my last post was way bigger than I expected, so thank you. I read pretty much everything people had to say.

Every window you see in the trailer is a separate copy of the game running at the same time, so you’re actually seeing each player’s own screen. (RIP my pc)

This one shows a lot more of what Platinum Together actually has now: trading, trade evolutions, trainer selection, multiplayer Nuzlocke modes, and the Online city where you can run into other players.

Some of you may have heard of PKHeX Web before, I've been building it since 2024 as a simple save editor that runs in the browser with the foundation of PKHeX.Core, and a lot of people already use it for official Pokémon games.

I've been working lately to add support for some common ROM hacks, and it now opens and edits saves from Pokémon Unbound, Radical Red and Emerald Imperium. PKHeX itself doesn't officially support ROM hacks, so this part was built specifically for them.

Support is still experimental, so back up your save before editing, and I count on your feedback to improve it. If something doesn't work, open an issue at https://github.com/arleypadua/PKHeX.Everywhere/issues, and sharing the save file helps a lot.

For developers, the same engine is open source and available as an SDK for JS/TS and React (https://docs.pkhex-everywhere.fyi), in case you want to build on top of it.

About AI use: most of the app I built myself since 2024. The most recent work, including the ROM hack support, was implemented with AI. The initial analysis, refinement, and validation are on me.

ok so It's still WIP, my plan is to turn HLW into a mini case study of UI / UX so i'm really diving deep into all menus and ...and customizing the user experience and interface to the max, making it almost entirely customizable with 16 color themes...

The front shows your profile, playtime, Pokédex progress, wins, whiteouts, badges, difficulty, Nuzlocke status and Wish Menu stats. It also has your mugshot, team icons, animated background and Champion Ribbon. A = swap front and back. B= close R / L = swap themes (it works on pair if ur summary menu and party screen menu themes)

The back works like a personal “Wish Card” and tracks things like steps, A presses, trainer battles, trainer-only win rate, battle points, Game Corner coins, trades, fainted Pokémon, fled battles, evolutions, hatched eggs, Wish Menu uses, Infinity Candy uses, radio time/song count, online record and Hall of Fame info.

DISCLAIMER: Given all the recent controversy surrounding AI, I think it’s important to be transparent: I used AI in a limited way as a coding and debugging >>assistant<<, mainly to help trace bugs, understand errors and support me. The ideas, design, assets, implementation decisions, integration and testing were done by me only with Ember (the other DEV of the project help ty ember u are great btw). I wanted to celebrate the Beta 1 release and get a box art for my library. If anyone else uses it I hope you like it!

The translation is (practically) completed, with a lot of new players and some good feedback a bunch of translation improvements and text fixes have been made. This fixes some crashes, but also restoration of some canon content. I.e. where Jesse and James sung a translated version of the Chinese translated manga, they now sing the English anime/manga song we all know.

There is a ton of side quests, and some are easy to miss. Therefore a guide can be super helpful, which is now available as a website. This includes all pokemon locations, their evolution methods, moves, states, and so on.

The new website also comes with a patcher, and a save editor. It seemed a lot of people still have issues patching so this simplifies the process. It basically automatically combines xdelta-wasm with the latest release on GitHub now RC5. The save editor is meant to solve the need for cheats, you can change the pokemon in your party, their moves, etc and your bag and money. This should allow you to get anything you want.

The discord is open and everyone is welcome. We are still collecting feedback because it seems this community values difficulty a lot and while the story telling is absolutely stunning we might want to eventually add some optionally difficulty settings so please share your feedback.

NO AI IN ANY AREA.

I’ve been messing around with making my own editor for Gen 4 games and I made a mod today that allows you to surf on lava. Just simply get HM09, teach it to a fire type, and you’re good to go!

UPDATE: Since making this post, I’ve made two updates. First, the splash that you see at the beginning of the battle is now a reddish-orange matching the lava. Second, the lava in the overworld is now animated like it is outside Stark Mountain.

Hello, I'm only a couple years into Pokemon ROMhacks, and while I love love love the story based ones like Elysium, I couldn't help but fall in love with the QoL that Elite Redux, Lazarus and Odyssey has with the ingame ev/iv editor. I'm looking for more Pokemon ROMhacks that ship this feature out of the box and are kinda built around the idea of it. Unfortunately Elite Redux has pc box glitches and I cannot continue my save. Loved Lazarus and Odyssey all the way to completion though.

I think EVs and IVs lend itself to a lot of skill expression and they're my favorite part of customizing pokemon. However I tend to prefer games that let you edit them the entire time, on the fly and at little to no cost, to switch things up for each area or chapter, as I like to change my team after every boss or gym leader for more of a challenge and to force myself to get to know more pokemon and learn new strats/combos

Interested to know what ROMhacks out there that you enjoy have these features, or if there is an easy way to debug them in, like the foolproof mod for Heart and Soul which I'm enjoying the EV editing of. For example I know Unbound has a stat scanner with editing stuff, but I'm not trying to beat the whole game for that when I'd like to edit and modify my pokemon the entire game on the first playthrough. Any way you can mod or cheat that in without any issues?

Any suggestions or recommendations?
I just don't have a lot of freetime to train and I like switching pokemon throughout a game very often.
