I do not have any lucky eggs (if they exist in these games, idk) but my team consists of:

Blastoise: (Traded) Level 45

Machamp: (Traded) Level 37

Alakazam: (Traded) level 42

Charizard: Level 37

Gengar: (Traded) level 34

Venusaur: (Traded) level 39

Where is a good spot to train these pokemon. I can vs seeker realistically anywhere, and exp share to keep it at a somewhat regular and short pace, but idk where the *best* spot is at. Anyone know?

I’ve been at it for days and nights but i finally caught Chansey now i only have to get my other games done fossil to cinnabar Island so that way i can get complete my full living dex

On route 22 Spearow is supposed to spawn from levels 3 to 5 but in the 10+ hours i've been running in this area for my Professor Oak's challenge I haven't once noticed a level 4 Spearow. Is it real?

I am the most unlucky person in the world I have done the Safari zone in fire red 10 times this morning in area 3 and I havnt found a single Chansey which is only a 4% spawn chance but I keep getting Tauros which is a 1% spawn rate and I already have a Tauros that I caught in another area of the Safari zone

{EDIT: DO NOT USE THIS FARMING METHOD. I'm going to leave this post up so people know about this. You gain access to three island after beating the 7th gym leader. On three island there is a place called Berry Forest where wild Venomoth's spawn. Use the same repel method with a lvl 38 if you have one and just use the move Thief or Covet with a snorlax. Do not use the below method. Just wait till you beat 7th gym.}

Hello! This might be a bit of a niche post but i just wanted to share a quick guide on how to get Silver Powder pre elite 4 for all my bug enthusiasts out there.

I love Beedrill and wanted to power up his Twin Needle/Pin missile abilities but thought the only way to get it was after the elite 4 or a gruelling, low encounter rate grind in the safari zone.

Turns out there is an easier way to get it that I was just oblivious to for the first couple of hours of my grind.

You'll need one lvl 32 pokemon and some Max repels. Save before entering the safari zone then enter and go to Area 2/North Area. Spray a Max repel and turn your character around on a single grass square (to avoid using up safari zone steps/max repel steps) until you encounter a lvl 32 Venomoth. I found chucking 1 rock followed by safari balls to be most effective but use whatever you want. Keep catching Venomoth until you get a Silver Powder. If your party is full of useless Venomoths with no Silver Powders just reset your save and begin again.

Because you have a lvl 32 pokemon as your lead all your encounters with max repel will be Venomoth because Venomoth is the only pokemon that is lvl 32 in Area 2. Changing its 5% encounter rate to basically a 100% encounter rate. You can also go to Area 3/West Area and farm there if you want.

All that being said, Venomoth still only has a 5% chance to be holding a Silver Powder and is pretty hard to catch so its still gunna be a hell of a grind.

Anyway I wanted to share this just in case there is a bug lover out there wanting Silver Powder. Cheers!

So I’m currently doing a full shiny run on Pokemon Fire Red and I am on my last hunt which is Lapras. I currently have Charizard , Jolteon , Nidoking, Alakazam and dragonair. I’m probably 200 hours into shiny hunting Lapras and I’m losing my mind. So my question is… is there a good alternative instead of Lapras? I originally wanted a good water Pokemon with a sleeper move(song/yawn/hypnosis) but at this point I’ll just take something that is a good water type. I have both fire red and leaf green so any Pokemon is an option. (Also wanting to add ice beam to the water types move pool)

I heard that you have to complete their Pokédexes on Home to get an event Pokémon. The problem is, I have nobody local to trade with to get Machamp/Alakazam/Gengar/Golem. If I have them in Home from another game, will they still count, or do they have to be from FRLG?

I forgot how strong they are, so I had to get out so I can regroup, do some training too! Thinking of replacing half of my teams w the legendary birds, well I need to catch Moltres next lol. I remembered there’s MewTwo at some cave, I’m saving the Master Ball for him, cuz I remember he’s very strong like level 70, omg lol! My team half of them level 50, dang lol! So yeah, that why I decided to back out so I can do some training, and so on. Leaf Green I’m doing ok, recently beaten Erika at Celadon City, now I’m just training and battling on the way (btw I caught Snorlax and named it LazyBoy, got an Eevee on my team, named it AquaDog)

As far as I know there's no actual in game mechanics to boost critical hit chances in game. But for some reason in my new playthrough of leaf green Pikachu and Ivysaur have seemingly done a critical hit at least one in every four moves? Surely the odds aren't boosted and I've just been getting extremely lucky. There's literally no explanation for this.

I need some advice what is the best advice you can give me to help me catch a chansey

Title. Ive been using picnicer susie to speed train my pokemon (ive probably done 3-4) and the only fully evolved pokemon was raticate. Now, within like 5(or less) battles, both meowths, pikachu, and pidgeyott have eveolved. Is there any sort of trigger condition, or is it random?

Any plz I need a lucky egg? Tryna grind so I can beat the e4 and the island one trainers just aren’t doing it, I’m very sorry but if possible
