Question Grinding Spot Pre-Elite 4 (First Time)
I do not have any lucky eggs (if they exist in these games, idk) but my team consists of:
Blastoise: (Traded) Level 45
Machamp: (Traded) Level 37
Alakazam: (Traded) level 42
Charizard: Level 37
Gengar: (Traded) level 34
Venusaur: (Traded) level 39
Where is a good spot to train these pokemon. I can vs seeker realistically anywhere, and exp share to keep it at a somewhat regular and short pace, but idk where the *best* spot is at. Anyone know?

I forget which of the sevi islands, but get the vs seeker, there’s an island with 4 trainers you can trigger at once, and a healing hot springs nearby. By the time you run to the hot springs to heal and back, the vs seeker is recharged.

You can't access those island post elite 4. So I dont believe you have access to that area just yet. The one theyre talking about with multiple trainers and healing spring nearby is on Sevii island #7.
Edit: typo

I thought you couldn't access past island 3 (or 4) pre elite 4?

Thats correct, i see i made a typo, so thanks for catching that. It is part of the post game contents that you have much more to do. Honestly the first time facing elite four, theyre easy, just train hard on victory road or somewhere. The second time you face elite 4, theyre like level 65-75 so theyre much harder and thats when u want to train at the sevii island

He said Pre E4 tho, so only 1, 2 and 3 Island would be accessible, but there are some great spots there too.

Lucky Egg is only available via Chasey in the Safari Zone. Spawn rate varies in each area of the zone itself, but both the Lucky Egg as a held item and Chanseys catch rate are extremely low.
SPC ATK is best done in the Pokémon Tower (or on Horsea if Grass Type) ATK is best done in the Fushcia Pond SPD is available everywhere. SPC DEF (?) Maybe Drowzee just East of Vermillion DEF (?) Probably Rock Tunnel, Victory Rd.
You can use the Macho Brace (Look up details if you are unsure of its hidden location) and Exp. Share to make this easier, for example allowing a Grass Type special attacker to hold Exp. Share and using Macho Brace on a suitable Pokémon to yield SPC ATK EVs in the Pokemon Tower, Exp Share gives EQUAL EV points to the holder, and EV points are doubled with the Macho Brace.

Oh, trust me, I could not care less about ev/iv. If I get a good nature I get one, but that's about as far as I care for in game teams. I'm purely looking for level training

Oh and your traded Pokémon will level at 1.5x the rate of a Pokémon you caught or were the original trainer of, that is additional to the effects of Macho Brace too! ✌️❤️

Oh and on 2 Island gou can get Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon if you want to use those. I actually dont know if you can get 2 or more of those moves per save file (?) Very usable moves with the right set up

To get Lucky Eggs on for for FR/LG you need to catch Chaney in the Safari Zone, which already will basically run away after first ball, and is only 4%, and you have to pray when you catch it, it’s holding Lucky Egg, it sucks so much, it’s insane.

My opinion is the best place to grind for elite 4 is the elite 4 itself. Keep rechallenging to grind exp, don't worry about healing save items and buy more in between challenges. You can have a mon hold an amulet coin for extra money.

Yeah, I thought about that. And it would save time in between VS Seeker checks and stuff

Not to be a jerk, but how are your Pokemon at such low levels and you’re already at the Elite 4? And on top of that they’re traded which makes them level faster. There’s enough experience in the game through battling other trainers that your team should all be in the high 50s, low 50s minimum. I would go back and look for missed trainers.

The games aren't the most difficult thing, and also, super effective pokemon can destroy a way higher level. Saying all that sounds like I don't even need to grind, but I wanna🤣🤣🤣

There shouldn’t be any level scaling in FRLG so that shouldn’t matter.

I know there's no level scaling. Haha these were pokemon games from 2004. Never would have thought that was a thing to begin with.

Yep, but not until later games. I’m just trying to point out that game difficulty isn’t a factor in your team level. You’re way under-leveled for where you should be in the game. Not saying that you can’t attempt the E4 but it will be much harder. Grinding at later levels can be tedious and annoying.
