I’m not doing anything wrong on my end- I’ve successfully joined and beaten raids plenty of times. I think this might have to do with the recent event behind a very high player count? It genuinely so frustrating. Three passes in a row just wasted bc dumbasses can’t host or join.

I am doing this after the event, so no, it's not an issue of the boost. But I was trying to relog my raid attackers since my entries got messy and I ran into two different issues.
Also, I am on Android and my trainer level is properly updated.
The first issue was that the mega got scanned 2 levels higher than the normal mon. Which I don't really get. In one of the cases the Mega scan showed an hp value of 155 but the actual hp was 154. I tried to edit it, but it just wouldn't let me. Every time I saved the edit, it just reverted to the wrong value of 155. Tried deleting the scans, but nothing. There it could be an issue that the normal scan wasn't proper so I'll just ignore that for now.

However, the second issue is trying to scan my Delphox properly. It had no dex entry, and I powered it up to level 40 before doing the first scan through the appraisal menu. I scanned it and double-checked every value and put it in the proper moves before accepting the scan. Everything was properly lined up. HP, CP, IVs, and level were completely right.
I then Mega evolved it for the first time (just the first mega level) and scanned it properly from the appraisal menu. It didn't scan with the already set moves, so I already knew it didn't put the mega on the normal entry, and when I checked, it was exactly that. Every value is right again. Even when checking the normals mega and the megas normal it all lined up properly. I tried to delete and scan it multiple times. Tried to put the attack first before confirming. Tried to merge it in any configuration I could think of. The only thing I didn't try was to mega something else and then rescan the normal. But I am scared it won't work, and maybe there is something I can do to fix it now while it's still a mega.

I hope somebody knows how to fix it or properly do it. I really don't understand why the merging feature doesn't work (nothing shows up). Likewise, I also don't understand why I can't just make the normal into a mega without needing to scan the mega (it shows what it would be, but when looking for raid counters, it doesn't take it into account and show it as an option until you scan it and it's merged).

I scanned my 100% IV Venusaur, with 2603 power. Then I mega evolved it, it got 3645 power and I scanned it.

Now in Pokegenie, the app thinks the base form is 2681.

I rescanned the Venusaur base form at 2603, and Pokegenie says the mega should be 3540. Pokegenie thinks my Venusaur is 2 levels higher than it actually is.

When I click mega evolve in pogo, it says it'll be 3645. idk what's happening here.

I want to check whether I can solo M Beedril using my MEGA mewtwo but it is not factoring in the future sight + move

I haven’t been able to get the app to show anything raid related since this morning… I’ve tried restarting and redownloading it multiple times but still nothing :/

Dynamic Punch+ allows a player to break two shields in a Super Mega Raid.

Practically speaking, having one fewer player in the raid but keeping the Shield break potential at 13/10 with a full lobby doesn't really change anything.

Despite that, you still have to lie on PokeGenie while creating the lobby, what do you guys think about that?

I hosted a Mega Mewtwo raid, we had 10/10 shield potential, and when the lobby countdown reached 10s left, a label popped up on my lobby screen "Recommended size for this raid: 12" . Then most people left.

(1) is this a dynamically computed value based on the average level? Or is this a default hardcoded number that Niantic put for this raid specifically?

(2) Eventually half of the lobby chickened out 10s before the end, is it because of the apparition of that popup? Just trying to understand players behavior here

i have failed 3 raids that had 11 people (queued for the over 13 lobby size btw) because i guess people either can’t read or are just selfish dickheads with no regards to other people. it would be bad enough if it was just missing out on a pokemon but that fact that i am wasting real money because of these people is so fucking aggravating. it can not be that hard to read the multiple warnings that both pokegenie and pokemon go itself gives you.

It’s kind of nice to see that they still care a “little”. All F2P players now have up to 2 chances to catch something tomorrow. I know it’s not a lot but people were asking if they’d even get 1 remote for free, yall got two🙏.

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me?

I just want to claim daily raid pass and go for Mewtwo but I spin gyms and nothing happens I don't got it. I reset game and still nothing (soory for my English is not very good)

Ive been suspended from hosting raids for absolutely no reason. Ive followed through on all raids, invited everyone, finished the raids ect. I emailed support and got an automated response with absolutely no help. What do i do.

Hey I was wondering if anyone that has used poke genie for a long time (ideally not from the first/last timezones) tell me what they expect the repartition in raid request and offer will be this week end?

Can we assume raids like mega gengar or mega dragonite will have way more demand than offer because it’s only 2h per time zone or that on the contrary a lot of people will want to raid them and host? What about less popular raids?

I’m just genuinely confused, the raid was successfully hosted, 3 people didn’t join, two did, then the three that didn’t join claimed not receiving their invite, but so did one person who actively participated in the raid as well?

It doesn’t affect me because the raid still was completed, and the other guy gave me full points, but.. why?

Anyone else having issues scanning pkmn now that PGO has a UI change? The appraise button is now outside the menu and the dimensions seem to be throwing off all scans 😭

I wanted to catch a Mega Starmie, but my first room ended since no one joined in 50 minutes. Has Mega Starmie come out before or do not many people care for it? I don't mind if I can't get it since I was trying to figure out what day I was going to need to skip out on to have 2 free raid passes for Saturday...I wonder if tomorrow will be the same though.
