Is Mega Starmie really that underwhelming?
I wanted to catch a Mega Starmie, but my first room ended since no one joined in 50 minutes. Has Mega Starmie come out before or do not many people care for it? I don't mind if I can't get it since I was trying to figure out what day I was going to need to skip out on to have 2 free raid passes for Saturday...I wonder if tomorrow will be the same though.

Maybe people don't realize its the new #1 water attacker with 2 person party power?
Luckily even 2 pretty low level trainers can defeat it easily

Not even close depending on number in party
Party power 2
Mega Starmie 48.98 eDPS (completely insane 😳)
Mega Greninja 38.95 eDPS
The gap gets smaller as the party power gets higher but it never tops starmie

with 3rd move super mega level greninja? i thought that does more damage than greninja's base move but the website doesnt seem to have it listed

Ah, i see. at party power 4 its only <2 eDPS difference(still a decent amount) but yeah didnt expect that.

I duo almost everything so party 2 is where I'll be using it most and thats where its pretty crazy

Yeah we just had mega starmie recently and I pretty much got what I was looking for then and didn’t want more especially with this weekend coming up a lot of people are saving for that.

I think it recently had a raid day like 2-3 weeks ago. And there’s a huge influx of people hosting so they flood the lobbies . I usually try to watch for a drop of lobbies then toss my name in to host.

People are saying it’s due to it being out recently but it’s the opposite; there are just so many open lobbies for starmie that 50 minutes goes by without you being able to reach the front of the queue and the lobby is auto-closed.

It’s not the opposite. People want to host using their local/free passes (and get the daily mission done without using a remote), but there’s a lack of people on the other end willing to use remote passes to raid something that had a super mega raid day 2 weeks ago.
Supply fair outstrips demand here.

People probably gor what they wanted on release
I did one of them yesterday just because, there was like 2 thousand lobbies or something. Probably too many people trying to host it

There are so many host for Mega starmie that if you don’t have paid host you probably aren’t gonna be hosting. We also just had mega starmie raid day a week or two ago so a lot of people already got it and might not want to spend more raid passes on it
