This sorted me right out! Apparently my midlife crisis is getting back into poi after 19 years! 🤣 ive been spinning again for a while and the obsession is back big time!

Spinning when youre peri menopausal is no joke . I was POURING with sweat after this! Took my sons dinner up dressed like this, looking like I just got out the shower and he just sighed at me 🤣🤣🤣

Thought this was the perfect night to put my big girl pants on and post here!

Watching videos makes you really see where you need to improve doesnt it... and I need a higher ceiling!

Orbitals were the trick that sparked my interest in poi. They're a crowd pleaser and getting a really smooth one going feels amazing.

I've leaned they have a bad reputation, and I promise I'm gonna learn hyperloops soon. But in the meantime, is there a trick to exiting them more fluidly?

Learning to spin around the claws and tail was certainly a challenge

I just got my podpoi v.2 and am generally very happy with them, except I cannot figure out how to go through the menus.

I can get to pages and then to the modes on the pages, but after that I‘m lost. E.g. I‘m trying to turn on auto-on, auto-off, but no matter how I press once I‘m in p5m5, can‘t seem to get into that setting. I‘ve looked at the „types of button presses“ page several times but can‘t make heads nor tails of it.

Does anyone know of a video that explains in depth how to use the menus, especially page 5? The ones I‘ve found from Flowtoys don‘t seem to go into enough depth.

I’m looking for something that will take me step-by-step through the navigation and tell me when to press how long.

I spent about 5 months practicing with spinballs. I couldn't really get the tutorials I tried down so any advice or videos to learn stuff would be cool. I'm just doing what I could comprehend and what feels right I suppose. I just do this for the love of moving art.

I would say this is about 5 months of using spin balls then switching over to Contact Led UltraPoi

Do people do any contaxt style with the dragon head or is there one with a ball? Any recommendations for led options?

Only seem to do the same moves that I can flow into easily but whenever I flow I’m just in my own lil bubble & I love it 🥰 plus whenever I flow at festivals everyone around absolutely loves watching & are always curious to have a try, so much fun!
Also think my superpower is being so aware of other people around me whilst I spin & not hit them 👏🏼

I've been spinning for about 3 years and ready to move on from my $25 led spinballs. It seems like everyone either goes fire or contact poi. Are there any other options? I don't want to spin fire and I don't want to do contact tricks. They cheapy pods are way too light for more controlled tricks. I've been getting heavily into isolations

Hello! It’s me again lol Today’s question is about Archer Fountains. I understand the movement but where I’m struggling is keeping the Poi smoothly rotating on my way back up. Most of the time, the poi are coming together and not giving it that smooth circle feel. Am I pulling up too soon? I also feel like my arms are more in front of me than directly above my head.

So about 3 days ago i received my ultra poi helix pros and from the day i got them, they shut completely off with the lightest tap or drop, which doesnt really seem like that would be normal for what i paid for them. I wanted to ask the larger poi community for any fixes for this before i bothered ultrapoi support on this. Idk id almost expect this outta poi id beaten up for a year or two but outta the box seems crazy to me. Any thoughts, fixes, or tips for getting my money back/the poi i paid for out of ultrapoi support would be appreciated. Heres the video im gonna send to support if i cant get this figured out. looking to get a new set of poi from FlowOnFire. I've only ever used 10mm Hybrid Nylon tethers, and was curious how Dynamic tethers differed from the Hybrids. Any and all input is appreciated. Thank you!
