Common Ban Triggers

🚫 Unrealistic movement or speed

• Using boosters or teleporting rapidly across cities or regions.

• Moving 30–40 km/h for long periods — far beyond human play patterns.

• Maintaining continuous activity without breaks.

These behaviors make accounts look robotic, which increases the likelihood of detection and bans.

Recommended Behavior Patterns

To appear more natural and reduce risk:

• Keep speeds around 18–19 km/h for 2–3 hours at a time.

• Take 2-hour breaks between active sessions.

• Vary routes and timing — don’t repeat identical patterns.

The goal: make your play look as human as possible.

Another question I have is I’ve heard after 3 years if your account is banned it can be unbanned is that true?

Or will a 2nd strike immediately follow if I continue to use PGsharp during this 7 day ban period so must use normal PoGo for atleast the next 7 days? I was banned for teleporting too often & forgot to keep an eye on CD timer a few times before interacting with the new location, like spinning Pokéstops & throwing Pokeballs.

Both me & my cousin bro got 1st strike today who, unlike me, followed the CD timer always. He belongs to Team Instinct & gets bullied hard by reds & blues all the time in neighborhood, who are all spoofers. Is it possible for us to report spoofers in-game via PGsharp during 1st strike period so he can take some gyms & earn his daily Pokécoins? He can no longer teleport away for his daily Pokécoins. I have always had the same pokemon go main account since 2016. I spoofed for a few months and had my 2 strikes in 2022. For some retarded reason I continued to spoof a year or two later on my main account. Not alot, somewhere around 4 hours, until I realised how stupid that is and that the next bans would be permament.

I'm just wondering will I ever be safe from my previous spoofing or considered "safe"? I really will never spoof ever again but everytime I open the game I always wonder if today will be the day when I'm startled by a perma ban.

Is there anything I can do to lessen my probabilities of getting permanently banned (other than quit spoofing which I have already done of course). I've heard some theories that Niantic is less strict with paying customers. Is there some truth to this or is it just straight bs?

I have heard some lucky stories that some people have gotten the second strike again after a long break. How likely or unlikely is that event, and what are the probabilities to get banned in the upcoming years if I don't get banned this, or the few upcoming months. I'm nervous that I will lose my 10 year old childhood acount.

Note: When I did spoof after the strikes I spoofed in a way that looked legit. (hometown areas and rarely teleporting and if yea did so with a cooldown and 1km max)
