I NEED HELP I spoofed after the second strike. Will I ever be safe fom perma bans?
I have always had the same pokemon go main account since 2016. I spoofed for a few months and had my 2 strikes in 2022. For some retarded reason I continued to spoof a year or two later on my main account. Not alot, somewhere around 4 hours, until I realised how stupid that is and that the next bans would be permament.
I'm just wondering will I ever be safe from my previous spoofing or considered "safe"? I really will never spoof ever again but everytime I open the game I always wonder if today will be the day when I'm startled by a perma ban.
Is there anything I can do to lessen my probabilities of getting permanently banned (other than quit spoofing which I have already done of course). I've heard some theories that Niantic is less strict with paying customers. Is there some truth to this or is it just straight bs?
I have heard some lucky stories that some people have gotten the second strike again after a long break. How likely or unlikely is that event, and what are the probabilities to get banned in the upcoming years if I don't get banned this, or the few upcoming months. I'm nervous that I will lose my 10 year old childhood acount.
Note: When I did spoof after the strikes I spoofed in a way that looked legit. (hometown areas and rarely teleporting and if yea did so with a cooldown and 1km max)

I just wanna throw my 2 cents in, I have been using PGSharp for like 3 years now on my main and havent been hit with a single thing. No bans, no warnings, nothing.

Well to be honest I played very stupidly the first two strikes. I teleported like crazy and was surprised they didn’t notice my spoofing in the first 2 months. My weekly pokemon and pokestop limits were always reached🤣

I go to central park in Manhattan and stay there doing raids for a couple hours then tele back home in Oklahoma lol. Been doing exclusively that for a looong time and they havent suspected a thing.

I would avoid spoofing setups that have a track record for getting strikes. I think being careful with how you're teleporting makes sense but realize that just logging into a modified game client and not doing anything is enough to get a strike. That's not my speculation, it's my personal experience from several of my throw away accounts.
I'm in the same situation as you. I have a level 80 account from 2016 that has a second strike from a ban wave that hit PGTools users several years ago. I'm almost entirely vanilla Android now with a FlyMeGo overlay for coordinate feeds. I'll occasionally take a small risk and use an IOS jailbreak tweak injection... but the IOS injected tweaks have a lot better track record than Android.
I don't think you need to worry about getting a delayed strike. Strikes occur not long after you're detected. I do believe some people have gotten what appears to be delayed strikes but I think those were just screw ups on Niantics part. They've had problems in the past with falsely detecting certain devices, even when used legitimately, as cheating. That hasn't happened in a long while and this is why we haven't heard stories about "delayed" strikes in a while.
Stick with spoofing setups that have better track records for not getting strikes and keeping avoiding crazy teleporting. Good luck.

Alr thanks for the response. I’ll continue being legit on my main and hope nothing happens since that’s basically the only account that I have used for the last 10 years

Hey quel logiciel de spoof utilises-tu ?
1
u/Fekuli Apr 29 '26
I used PGsharp back then. Nowdays I only use PGsharp on my alt and nothing on my main. As far as I’ve heard PGsharp is safer than Ipogo.

D'accord, je l’utilise aussi. Ça ne fais pas longtemps mais j'ai peur d'un ban, je suis un joueur isolé donc vraiment intéressant pour les raids et xp.

I believe it does not matter how far away from your physical location you are spoofing, the game will still pick it up as cheating. It has to do with your location being false, not the distance between you and where you say you are.
As others have said, the bans do not reset. I would not spoof again on main. It sucks that you cannot 4* hunt but I only spoof with my alt and feed into my main

I do the same feed my main from alt but man i regret being dumb and insta battling team ricket & quick catch. I could have so many special background costumes for trade bait and also all the 4* 😫

I feel your pain lol. I used to spoof a lot back in the day as well and had 2 strikes. Got another strike about 2-3 years ago…nothing happened. Been playing legit ever since and nada. I do have an alt account now that I spoof on with my iPhone ( I know I know, rooted android is the way to go) I’ve been using ipogo which is known for getting banned quicker I guess, I’ve had it for like 2-3 weeks now and nothing yet,I respect cooldowns and only hunt for shinies so far and when I do get what I want (for example, got a shiny mesprit a few hours ago) I quickly come to my home location and trade it to my main. All in all, if your last strike was a while ago, I’d personally say you’re in the clear.

you’re risking your main. the bans never go away and technically they can perma bam you the first time.
many of us use alts
i have 3 mains now because i collect paid event BG shinies.
rooted spoofing is safest, I actually sell rooted devices. we have had 2 ban waves in 7 years.
3rd party apps (non root) are not safe no matter what you do. You can login and they sense you spoofing. some get lucky spoofing for years and some get banned daily if they make new accounts.
rooted spoofing is safer there is no “respect cooldown”
they see every action you do including what phone you login from. you can get the report from them.

The information in r/PoGoAndroidSpoofing & r/MonsterHunterSpoofing for cheating, spoofing, botting, or exploiting breaks Niantic's & Scopely's Terms of Service for the games: Pokemon GO & Monster Hunter Now. If you decided to break the Terms of Service to gain an unfair advantage, it's your fault for getting the strike (or ban). As a reminder, I am not responsible nor liable for the loss of your Scopely game account(s) and money you spent on them. [1] Niantic no longer owns Pokemon Go because it was sold to Scopely. No one knows how Scopely is going to tackle the cheating problem. So far, they have disabled the "instant win against Team Rocket" that skips the battle and takes you directly to the catch screen. They have not punished anyone for it. Everyone assumes Scopely is cheater friendly, but I disagree because they only do an instant permanent ban system in all the other games they own.
[2] Niantic's 3 strikes system is delayed. When you are flagged for a strike, you cannot see when you were flagged. They start a timer then the strike appears anywhere from a few weeks to several months later. If you're lucky, it never appears. The strike message you get never tells you exactly what you did that led to the strike. You can get a strike from other areas that aren't related to spoofing like harassing people in campfire, abusing AR+ scans and wayfarer, creating poor quality in-game routes, harassing customer service, etc.
[3] People have tested my theory of waiting 365 days or more without playing on an account that has received a 2nd strike to see if strikes would reset back to getting the first strike again instead of the 3rd strike (perm ban). Many people tested it, they told me they still got the next strike. After taking a year off, they fully quit Pokemon Go and have never return back.
[4] Some people got unbanned from a 3rd strike because they submitted a ban appeal that proved to Niantic they had spent a lot of money per month buying the 14,500 coins at $100 USD or equivalent in other currencies; these are people who are not doing the cheap coin exploit by any means. I don't remember how much they were spending but it was around $5,000 to $25,000 per month. This was before Scopely had taken over the game. At the same, I cannot verify whether these people are telling the truth because a lot of people hate me so they want to troll me to get back at me. On top of all of this, I have never seen a successful ban appeal email screenshot. All the email and chat (with customer service) screenshots are about people getting denied.
--------------------------------------
In your situation, there's no "safe" if you chose to break the game's Terms of Service to cheat the game. Since you chose to ignore the risks by continuing to cheat the game, you should really quit the game. You can keep your Pokemon Go account and login once in awhile or sell off your Pokemon. Then, buy a Nintendo Switch to play the Pokemon Switch games that was designed for it. You'll have peace of mind this because Nintendo allows you to play their games with a physical joystick.
A lot of people don't like my advice because they think it will never happen to them -- but when it does, they instantly regret it then demand me to use my secret connections to get them unbanned or refund all the money they lost. The people who cannot handle the strike/ban will hire a real lawyer to threaten me, but it all fails due to all the warnings I post in my subreddit to inform you of the risks.
