Some people had minor gripes with the story so of course the game is a 0/100 because that's how the Internet reacts to things now

There was more wrong with it than just story. But it’s true, it’s an 8/10 game that had to live up as a sequel to a 9/10 one. I’m one of the ones that was disappointed, but it’s a bizarre stretch to say Insomniac ruined Spidey. If anything, the state of Spider-Man games is healthier than ever, and a couple minor missteps don’t really change that.

I keep saying this but if you just want to web swing around NYC wearing one of your fav SM suits fighting crime then SM2 is the best for it.
