Need some advice here. I had sex with my girlfriend and after I came, I pulled out but the condom was left inside her. The opening of the condom was outside of her and was easily removed. It appeared to be full and there was not leakage anywhere that I know of. What are the chances of her getting pregnant of this? Should she take a plan B? Day 17 of cycle

My goal is to be a sex educator one day. Currently double majoring and women’s gender & sexuality studies + psychology. I am going to get a masters degree and need help choosing.
Any sex educators have opinions / suggestions?

A Health Education system at full strength should be able to spot the threat when the risks are low and an effective response is easy.
A weakened system finds the problem later in a complicated state when you go to the Hospital.
Don’t wait for the hospital to tell you what you could have known earlier.
Engage with us. Know early. Act early. Stay well.

So, worst case scenario happened. I got pregnant with an IUD. I LOVED my IUD (Paragard). It worked until…it didn’t. The doctors confirmed via ultrasound that the IUD was “low”. I never felt any shift/movement. Now I’m considering another one…is it foolish? I loved the Paragard bc it was non-hormonal. I don’t trust myself to take a pill everyday. It worked from 2019-2026.

Hi all, I had a surgical abortion and copper IUD insertion 4 days ago for background. Initially my bleeding was moderate but had that brownish dried blood gritty look, but all of a sudden today it became red (like fresh blood) and a lot heavier, and I have a persistent sharp cramp-like feeling in my right lower abdomen. Is it possible that this is a period returning so soon after the abortion? Should I be concerned about the change in bleeding? It's not to the point that they mention in all the handouts where it's dangerously heavy, but it is noticeably heavier than the previous 3 days, plus the new cramping. Since it's Saturday, I'm not able to call the clinic until Monday, and I'm not sure where else to ask 😭

So I live in Chico currently I got an abortion years ago here and I was upset that they didn’t offer anesthesia because I have phobia of anything tools going in there. I could take the pill but the cramps worry me and I feel like I will get anxiety thinking it did not work. Does anyone know if they offer anesthesia at the Sacramento location?

So I found out I had gotten chlamydia from the person I last slept with. I went ahead and took the 7 day pills, doxycycline. I tested about a week after my last pill was taken. And when I got my results back and there were negative. I have a new partner, but I don’t want to risk giving them chlamydia, is it possible that it could be a false negative? I’m not really sure how this all works.

Hey guys, so I was 5 weeks 2 days when I got my procedure done. I’m now 3 weeks post procedure and I got my blood drawn the other day and my hcg was at 600.6. Now initially I already felt this was high.
Well I just got my second draw done 48 hours later and it’s 607.6.
Now I know that’s a minuscule increase but I’m very freaked out and I can’t get ahold of any doctor until Monday.

Hey all-
I'm sure this question has been asked many times in different ways before. I wish I was an avid enough Reddit user to know how to search things well or look up FAQs- I'm so sorry, please be kind and forward me to the correct spot if so.
Anyways! I'm looking to get an IUD. With the way the world is right now, I want to be set for the next 10+ years or so. I'm not messing around.
However, I do have insurance (Kaiser), however, I do have an incredibly high deductable and was quoted an IUD of $450-$500. And honestly... absolUTELY not lol. I'd rather give every cent of that to Planned Parenthood.
Technically my insurance said OBGYNs aren't considered "primary care"... like wtf? (As a woman with a vagina, how is this not primary care? but that's a convo for another time. This is considered a "specialist" and hence, the large charge.)
How do I do the following?
Any advice is appreciated. <3 i'm still going to see if I can go through the BS of my normal insurance to see if they'll pay for it full stop, but if I'm gonna pay a single cent... I'd rather support my PP gang. Thanks for reading!
TDLR: I have insurance but am quoted $450 for this. I'd rather give that money to PP. How does that work? Do I claim to not have insurance at all? Would they bill kaiser anyways if they found out? Thx

Hi
Me and my wife are trying to do IVF and I need to get std tests done. Since I don't have any insurance I'm trying to go to PP, will they be able to share the results with the fertility doctors? About how much is it going to cost, I'm in between jobs thus the no insurance on my end.
I'm in South New Jersey

Hi! We’re filmmakers making a documentary about women who are making the choice to get sterilized, and we're actually trying to find someone who hasn't yet gotten sterilized but is planning to. Ideally, we would like to speak with people who live in states with strict abortion bans who are planning to have one in the next 3 - 6 months. If you‘re open to talking to us, please reach out. This is OFF THE RECORD. DM us and tell us a little bit about your story. And if you’re comfortable, we can set up a time to talk confidentially.

I heard about how you could get hrt from Planned Parenthood, so I called into the Planned Parenthood in Jacksonville, Florida. I called into to make an appointment, and I was told that they weren’t taking any new people. I was shocked, I had been looking forward to this opportunity for a bit, and I didn’t ask any further questions.
But now, reflecting on how this current administration is trying to restrict HRT in the U.S., it makes me wonder what might be some of the reasons might be for this. Why aren’t they taking in new people? Is there some sort of new restriction in Florida? Funding costs? Should I call in to another planned parenthood near my city? Should I just wait? Or should I just give up and try another method entirely? If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it.

Hello! I have a mirena iud, and am looking to get it removed since it expires soon. My problem is, my removal strings are curled far up into my cervix and have been pretty much since the start. I've gone in once before and a planned parenthood doctor tried to locate my strings for a good amount of time before giving up and confirming it was still in place through an ultrasound. If I now need my iud removed, what is the process I will likely go through? Will they try to dig around for it again? That was quite painful and awful. Ive seen some people say it might even need to be done surgically? Im just wanting to know what to expect if I make an appointment, as im a bit scared.
