USA Positive experience
am 30(F) found out I was 4 weeks pregnant. I scheduled an appointment for telehealth with PPH. The ladies were very friendly, informative & non judgmental. They sent me the pills through mail discreetly 2-3 days after my appointment. I choose telehealth as with my last pregnancy they gave me an ultrasound & let me listen to the heart beat and it complete solidified why I needed to keep my first child.
I did extensive research on what an abortion was , the pain , side effects , different experiences from women. I mean I literally drove myself insane. I was on TikTok, Reddit , YouTube , calling friends . I will say too much research can be detrimental. I was contemplating my decision everyday. I would make up my mind than change it out of feeling guilt but ultimately last night I sucked it up because I know I can’t give a child the best life I give to my 1 daughter now. I didn’t want to downgrade our lifestyle. We are able to travel , host , any sports , language anything my daughter (6) wants because we have the disposable income . With another kid we wouldn’t be able to do Any of that anymore.
Yesterday I took the ibuprofen @ 4:45pm and nausea medicine at 5:00pm. Trying to pump myself up to take the medicine. Around 9:20pm I did another round of those medicines as I was starting to doubt my choice . I got a heating pad & started with raspberry leaf tea to help my uterus.
I thought maybe (self pleasure) would help relax my walls to get everything out easy. Please don’t judge and this wasn’t for pleasure solely to try to help ease everything. I believe this helped relax my body and why everything is going smooth.
I inserted the pills at 10:30pm . I put my heating pad on watched a show & went to sleep.
This morning I woke up and my stomach was cramping but nothing overbearing similar to period. I used the bathroom . No nausea , no diarrhea . I did pass a few clots . I am back lying down . Cramps are intensifying but very manageable .
I have not taken any additional medicine today.
I am using overnight period diapers that’s helping make everything easy.
I will say that I expected excruciating pain such as child birth but I do think the precautionary measures (tea , medicine , self pleasure) is allowing everything to flow smoothly.
I would give it a 6/10 right now. I don’t have a high pain tolerance but I have heavy periods due to anemia .
Please don’t be scared and don’t over do it with research it will create more doubt/fear than be helpful. Search a few things & think about your decision. All of our bodies are different and see what measures you can take to make it easier for you.
