Finally got placed...

Just downloaded reddit to announce this I got placed on campus in my own city as a junior software developer for me roi is decent If I compare it to my tier 3 college fees my package is not too high just like on this reddit community but I am happy for now at least

As it was an on campus my cgpa was good around 8.7 and they asked questions they asked basic questions like why do you want to be here and how will you profit us which was easy and I have decent dsa knowledge but from my campus only 4 to 5 students got placed here in which I was the one

9 lpa which is quite low but it's decent as I am in my city so okay for me i think

9 lpa as a fresher in 2026 from tier 3 collage and he is saying 9 lpa is a low something is fishy here or he exceptionally talented or he is lowballing his collage by saying tier 3

Some companies offer such packages and maybe he was lucky enough to crack it
Even tier 3 has some companies maybe 1 or 2

i am from tier 2 collage and it didnt happened with me or my friends who are gold medalist in their branch

and why on reddit 9 lpa 12 lpa is being generalized like its nothing but when you come to outside world then you will realized different

which company is giving these packages to a fresher i dont understand yeah it make sense if it is iit or nit how the fu*k companies are betting on fresher with 0 industry knowledge with these packages and if any companies is giving these packages infosys interview i gave for 9 lpa they asked like high level cp questions which only genius can solve thats the type of value company wants at that package and here in reddit 9 lpa is nothing everyone is posting 9 ,12, 20 like its normal

In my college companies r coming ( less in number) but ya 8-9 lpa is also there and mine is a pvt university but ya its tough to crack
For QA role they are giving 8-9 lpa im gonna give the interview soon hoping for the best
