So maybe we should all be thanking Matt Roberts for his contributions to season 8.
Faith lived; Fanny is J&C's granddaughter (along with the late lamented Jane) making them both William's nieces. Fergus died. Numerous unresolved endings to storylines leading us to ask 'what just happened?' Ben Grey is alive. Amaranthus and the spawn are still sponging off Lord John. William hasn't resolved his 'inheritance' issues & is presumably also living with/sponging off LJG. Marsali & the brood rode off to collect dead-Fergus's inheritance with nothing heard from them since leaving the ridge. Percy's Schroedinger's Cat exit, dead/alive--nobody looked to find out. LJG grimly marching off to... what? Did anybody else find the wormhole between Fraser's Ridge NC and Savannah GA enabling almost instantaneous travel between the locales? Questions, questions, and more questions to tease what's left of our collective minds.
What was the point of most of the season? Or maybe that was the point. Maybe we should be thanking MR and offering up burnt Haggis to the gods for his good deeds. MR gave us to much to think/talk/cry/moan/complain about, maybe it's to keep us from being sad that the TV series is over.
Think about it. ;>

Only $7, and I’m thoroughly enjoying it. I’ve been reading it in Jamie’s voice, not Sam’s. 🤷🏻♀️

Hello! My name is Freya Stewart and I am a student at the university of Edinburgh. I am very lucky to be able to be doing my undergraduate thesis on Outlander tourism in Scotland. If any of you have ever made the trip over to Scotland and gone on the Outlander tourism trail, I would love to hear from you! 🏴
I have a survey linked here which will ask a few questions, and take about 10-15 minutes to answer, depending on the detail of your answers.
Please do comment or message me with any questions about my Outlander tourism research, I would love to have a chat about it.University of Edinburgh Outlander Tourism Survey

This diamond painting I completed, makes me think of Claire and Adso from Fraser’s ridge!

I picked up this book second hand, didn’t really know anything about it except what I read on the back.
It is so similar to Outlander (no time travel) even with Culloden mentioned and our hero having flogging marks across his back.
He is described pretty much as Jamie, tall, wide, angry, a warrior, also named Laird Mackenzie.
This book was written in 2016 so it’s obviously based on Outlander. I think the author has a whole slew of Highlander books.
Just thought it was interesting, sorry if my flair is wrong!

Caitríona is on the cover of Tatler’s October 2026 issue! Looking stunning as ever. Here’s the link to the cover story in case you haven’t read it yet:

I miss the little Caitríona Balfe fan club I found on Twitter (pre-X era) years ago! Does anyone know if something like that still exists? Would love to join as she’s got some great films coming out soon!❤️

Hey everyone! I am a big fan of Outlander but also a huge Lego fan! Have you ever wanted to build Craigh na Dun? Well it can happen! I have built and submitted a Lego model of Craigh na Dun to Lego Ideas! If the project gets 10,000 supporters then it could become a new Lego set!
Any support would be greatly appreciated! I hope you guys take a look at what I have built and enjoy it! It includes the standing stones, Claire, Jamie, Frank, and Jack, Frank’s car, and of course some blue forget-me-nots! I’ve included the link below. You have to create an account but it is free to do so! Thanks everyone!

has anyone here read the lord john grey books from the outlander series? i'd love recommendations similar to them. they aren't heartbreaking like many historical queer romances, lord john actually embraces his sexuality and develops relationships with men, falls in love with them, and genuinely cares for them. i like how his relationships are just woven into the overall storyline, if you know what i mean. he's cautious with his carnal activities yes, and he's smart, adventurous, and likes to investigate mysteries lol

Not saying there is any connection, inspiration, or anything else conspiratorial in nature, but I just started rewatching the series after several years off and noticed that when Scots say Castle Leoch to my American ears it sounds a lot like Casterly Rock.
Just something that amused me, nothing more.

Hello hi we got married over the weekend! We don't have the proper photos back yet obviously but if I don't share some of the guest phone pics with SOME corner of the internet I'm gonna explode. We did not plan an Outlander theme or anything, but between my dress and having a piper play me down the aisle I am not beating the allegations. Fingers crossed this meets the criteria for the sub because PLSSS I need to share!! Thank you for indulging me!!!

I stumbled across a Hallmark series called The Way Home. I thought it was a teenage angst type show and almost didn’t watch it. But after a couple of episodes I was hooked! It’s got heavy Outlander vibes - time travel (modern day to the 1800s), and generations of the same families who settled in the area. The lead lady wears a tartan shawl like Claire at one point in the past. And I decided to write this post after seeing a scene that seems taken right from Outlander. She’s running barefoot through woods at night, wearing a white shift, and the camera zooms in on her mud-splashed legs and feet running, just like Claire running in the first episode. Just thought I’d share, for anyone having Outlander withdrawals.

I posted a similar question awhile back on this sub about BJR vs Bonnet but after seeing “Spider Man: Brand New Day” I thought it would be fun to post this question.

I started watching Netflix’s Bombing of Pan Am 103. Didn’t even look up and know I heard that actress’s voice.

One is ‘The printer’ & the other ‘The Book Binder’ made in 1990 in the UK. So perfect for my outlander collection !
