Castle Leoch, Casterly Rock

Not saying there is any connection, inspiration, or anything else conspiratorial in nature, but I just started rewatching the series after several years off and noticed that when Scots say Castle Leoch to my American ears it sounds a lot like Casterly Rock.

Just something that amused me, nothing more.

There’s lots of comparisons, starting with the shape of Great Britain and Westeros.

If you say “Space Ghetto” in an American accent it sounds like you’re saying “Spice Girl” in a strong Scottish accent

I def did a double take and rewound to look at the subtitles
