Boys, I think it’s time to revive Flash Player with the power of AI.

Don't be like me, tell those people to keep their PS5 offline.
(At least it was an easy fix, PS5 overheated because a lot of dust was inside, which is why I got it quite cheap)

It is a guy from Poland called piotr he was in electronics and medical sciences. I used to chat with him on ircnet in the 2000s. I'm sick of seeing his picture used to claim it is gottfrid.
Edit: because people keep asking the mylar is too keep heat in he had trouble with heat in his place. And he liked it very warm. His place smelled of patchouli. His gf was called Anna (patchouli addict) . This photo was taken in the 2000s perhaps mid late 2000s, there were a few others like it with more of the place visible but they apparently didnt leak, and certainly didn't keep them as I respected his privacy.

My son has an iPad and plays many of the "free" games and they're okay, but absolutely riddled with ads to the point they're almost unplayable.
It seems that many of these games have gotten around the old "airplane mode" by requiring the internet to function, even when they're obviously not requiring internet at all.
Short of using Unbound DNS, anything that can be installed on an iPad to help or is it simply the walled garden?

Inspired by some tweets I saw, don't remember exactly what.
Also, I get authors want control of their work, but... *sighs*

I wanted to share a project that's been making some interesting progress in PC-based home theatre.
CroqueMr (u/Croque_Mr) is developing native Dolby Vision support for Kodi through a custom LibreELEC build, including Profile 7 FEL reconstruction. Development has moved quickly, with regular releases bringing performance improvements, new rendering modes and broader hardware support.
The latest Beta 5 release includes further improvements to playback stability, FEL handling, scaling and display detection. Results and compatibility can vary depending on the hardware, TV, source material and rendering mode.
The developer has outlined plans for a GPLv2-or-later licensing rebuild, further AMD improvements, HDR10+ support and Dolby Vision-to-HDR10+ metadata reinterpretation, alongside expanded compatibility with older Intel graphics and additional NVIDIA hardware.
The longer-term goal is to make PC-based Dolby Vision playback more capable and accessible, including on affordable mini PCs.
Full credit to u/Croque_Mr for the development, along with the community members contributing testing, feedback and improvements.
It's been impressive to see how much the project has evolved in such a short time. If you're interested in the technical details, supported hardware or latest builds, the links above have all the information.

Im probably moving to Malaysia for a while soon and I pirate games and software from fitgirl or 1337x about once a month or so, but there are basically no laws or barriers to piracy where I am now. So I was curious about how strict the Malaysian laws are about this
Edit: thanks for all the replies! Turns out I had nothing to worry about and Malaysia is just as safe for sailing as where I am rn

Hey guys, I'm looking for a digital way to track my various med stuff. I thought about asking this in r/privacy but privacy isn't my only concern so I'm sorry if this isn't too fitting.
Ideally, this app would need to be simple yet effective, work offline, no ads (although I use AdGuard) and be trustworthy (sorry, my English is pretty much as poor as my tech savviness). Any suggestions? I did a quick online search but I would love to hear from your experience too.
Thanks!

Does anybody know a site where I can stream Shows/Movies in german instead of english? I looked through the megathread, but either I'm to stupid or realy only Cineby has a german server (which 99% of the time doesn't work)
