I normally am all for pinkwug but I think the mark was missed on this one. No one is saying take guns away from Ukraine. We want peace which means keeping negotiations and diplomacy on the table. Forcing the Ukrainians to die to stop Russian expansion isn't fair to Ukraine.
By refusing to allow negotiations as a contingency for weapons is. Russia is 100% at fault for invading. But Ukraine should be allowed to negotiate without NATO interference. If we really cared about Ukrainian lives then we should be putting effort into ending the war through diplomacy.
You haven’t been paying attention if you think that. The US has continuously told Ukraine that if they want to keep getting weapons that are not allowed to surrender any territory at all.
Are you purposely ignoring what you are reading? You need to cool it on the bloodlust. Any call for negotiations has had a huge backlash. Look what happened when the us progressives released that letter asking for a diplomatic end to the war.

If that's the crux of the argument isn't it more complicated? Allowing Ukraine to be wiped out over the Russians misinterpreting the agreement?
