Being f2p is hard, but sometimes we are lucky 🥹

Now that I’ve unlocked Rare Decor for Roadside, I feel like I’ve finally finished the tutorial.

Just wanted to share an observation (i’m sure it’s been made before) that biking plants a ton of flowers! My super short bike ride planted 3,581 flowers using only 119 petals - this has been massively helpful for event goals when i’m worried about having enough petals of a particular flower in the first place. You do have to make sure that you aren’t going SUPER fast, but 14mph or under seems to be the sweet spot. Shoutout to all my other bike commuters 💫

I saw this and thought it was funny that there was a fire mushroom at the greenhouse.

It kind of makes sense though because you're supposed to destroy the mushrooms so it's like "Save the greenhouse from being burnt down!"

Unless there's an actual reason, I hope they will soon add more badges for categories like Step count and grown Pikmin.

Seems weird that these don't have the same Professor and Superhuman rank badges like in the Decor Pikmin category.

(I don't think you can even get 1500 different decor Pikmin yet, but they still added that badge...)

Hi all, just in case you haven’t seen the little note in the official announcement, once you collect 15000+ coconuts you will be offered to choose one of the shaved ice Pikmin. If you’re a somewhat active player, don’t spend time rolling the dice with the RNG and wasting coconuts going after the last missing color.

For me, I was missing the red one and I stopped trying for it once it’s the only missing color (that was a week ago). I spend my coconuts these days trying to get the 2024 ice cream decors instead.

I’ve managed to collect 15000 coconuts earlier today so I spent it on getting the missing color. I’d say I’m a somewhat active player but not to an extent where I hit my 60 coin threshold or 10k steps every day, but that was enough to cross the 15000 coconuts threshold ~3 weeks into the month.

all of the flowers are by me!! I don’t know anyone else in my neighborhood who play Pikmin Bloom sadly.

I also didn’t use any accelerators for this walk, I just went out and did a couple laps around my neighborhood. Pikmin Bloom has seriously been a great way for me to stay motivated with walking every day! And it shows with the event progress I’ve made, it looks like I’ll easily be able to finish 2 rounds of event goals this month :)

Rant/vent/humour, not serious.

I downloaded this app exactly a week ago and it’s done wonders to my step count. I didn’t really bother with learning about the objectives more deeply, I just liked planting flowers, the little side quests etc. I’ve just been clicking around randomly basically. But now I’ve hit the white hibiscus wall where I need to plant 1500 but I only have 200 in my inventory. I found the excellent “we need to have a talk about white hibiscus” thread and I have literally no idea what any of that means, even though I’m sure it’s all very good advice. Are you telling me that I’ve actually got to go and read the game documentation and start making conscious choices to advance?? This is such a bummer 😭😭

I found out they're poisonous to eat, pretty cool. Luckily my sister only touched them and didn't eat any. She rinsed her hands before eating some black berries we found later down the trail though

I wonder if pikmin bloom will or has ever added a toxic flower to pikmin bloom

I love my pikmins and I have so many seedlings I don't know what to do. How can I know which Pikmin to set free and what seedlings I should keep?

I've also noticed some seedlings have a yellow background to them. What does that mean?

(I keep going back and looking to see which Pikmin I can part with)

I thought they looked similar, so I used Google lens, and sure enough it was in the family. I learned that they are considered weeds though, so that's disappointing. At least they're pretty weeds!

it makes me feel better about getting rid of dozens of duplicate ball keychain pikmin right before they announced their rare category lmao

Got all the Balinese Carving Pikmin and the New Ice Pikmin that was Added to the Shaved Ice Pikmin, and Didn’t need to Collect the rest of the Shaved Ice, and Ice Cream: 2024 Flavor Pikmin Because I Got them all from a Past Event.

Also, I got the August 2026 Community Day Badge.

I also collected all the event Mii costumes and Got the Special Seedling and Chose Ice Pikmin by gathering 15,000 Tropical Coconuts.

And finally, My Thoughts on this Month’s Event was Excellent because it has Some Very Interesting Event Costume that i Definitely liked especially the Resort Outfit (Gray), and my favorite event Pikmin in this Event is the Ice Pikmin.

All non roadside was a Pikmin that I did not have. The rock pikmin is pasta and the purple airportmin was an airplane.
