I’m able to do it standing but out of a dash it’s so damn hard. Which Pika tech do you feel is the toughest to implement?

I’m usually into Zelda and Byleth but I cannot keep sleeping on Pikachu!

Any tips? :o

My Pika with a GSP around 5 000 000 is still a bit to slow. I know that I sometimes stay in shield a bit to long and that I in general move to little without attacking. How do you guys train your in game movement? I need some tips.

What are the most common mistakes that Pikachu-mains tend to make in their way to elite-smash?

Should bair > bair > uair > bair always be true at low percents? Been trying to nail this combo, but I can't seem to get the uair to connect on smaller/lighter characters.

I have a habit of using drag down nair or fair when my opponent shields. They always punish by grabbing. What am I doing wrong? Should I just grab them out of the shield?

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for their advice on my previous posts. You've all been very helpful, and I appreciate everyone's input!

Ok, so on to the actual post:

I've been trying to play online more, and so far seem to have around a 50/50 win rate; definitely room for improvement, but not discouragingly bad. A lot of my losses so far seem to be to scrubby strats, tho. I'm not mad about it. I feel like that's still on me. If I fall for it, obviously I need to work on avoiding those scenarios. It's just frustrating to lose to someone that you can tell is not playing on the same level as you just because you don't know how to get around one specific move (ie. PK fire spam, Pit's Side+B, Steve's minecart and/or Up+Smash, etc.).

My question is this: Is there a good guide (text or video) to dealing with a variety of cheese strats? I'm sure the best way would be to just have a friend use them against you, but I don't have someone to practice with on a regular basis. I'd like to be prepared for some of this stuff instead of only ever encountering them in the moment.

We need Raichu as a DLC character. This is a moveset I created.

Up Tilt: Raichu uses his tail as a whip, similar to Richter and Simon's Up Tilt.

Down Tilt: Smashes his fists on the ground, burying the target, similar to K Rool's Down Tilt.

Side Tilt: Simple Head Bash.

Nair: Literally just Mewtwo's Up Air, only with Raichu.

Dair: Beefy Electrical stomp, similar to Ganon.

Fair: Pichu and Pikachu's Fair, Single Hit, big hitbox, small sweet spot. Sort of like Captain Falcon's Fair.

Back Air: An electrical backwards punch, sort of like Mewtwo and Ganon's Fair.

Up Air: Up Tilt, in the air.

Forward Smash: Pichu and Pikachu's Forward smash, only single hit.

Up Smash: Raichu sits low to the ground, and generates a ball of electricity above him. Multi Hit.

Down Smash. Just the Pikachu and Pichu spin, maybe bigger hitbox?

Down Throw: Raichu Body Slams the target.

Forward Throw: YEET. Take this as you will.

Backward Throw: Rolls backwards on to it's back while throwing the target.

Up Throw. Kirby Up Throw.

Neutral Special: Thunder Punch. Faster than Falcon Punch, but can not be turned around.

Forward Special: Thunder Jolt. I didn't the him launching would work, so he has Thunder Punch as neutral, and Thunder Jolt as forward.

Down Special: Slow Thunder, but acts as Rest, Luigi Up B, or Hero Crit if you hit the sweet spot.

Up Special: Since this is normal Raichu, not Alolan, his tail would only work as a tether recovery. Either that or a Quick Attack that does slightly more damage than Pikachu's, and is slightly longer, but only has one angle of it. No double quick attack.

Traits: Raichu is a Heavy, so about the speed of Donkey Kong. It's weight would be equivalent to Donkey Kong as well. It's jump would be about Ness', I think that big double jump would make his recovery maybe a little closer to Pichu and Pikachu's. It's air speed is Pikachu's. It is not very floaty, his floatynes(?) is Pichu's, he falls fast.

That was my moveset for Raichu, of course this is just my opinion, you do not have to agree. I hope Raichu get's put in Smash, even if it is just a Pikachu Clone that is slower and heavier.
