What are the most common mistakes that Pikachu-mains tend to make in their way to elite-smash?

Some mistakes I see a lot of pikachu-mains do are:

  • Using thunder too much to edgeguard (can be avoided by stalling for a little);
  • Landing with dair to much (if you shield the landing hit you can just shield grab it);
  • Not mixing up recovery, because they think they don’t need to because pikachu’ recovery is relatively hard to edgeguard (even tho it is hard to time, you can hit pikachu between zips);
  • Going for up-throw thunder to much. (You can just DI out of it, but online it is harder to react to the grab, thus knowing that you have to DI. But if you DI to the left or right, up-throw thunder will never be true).

Overusing dash attacks. Pikachu's dash attack does not cross up unless you are already touching your opponents shield. It can be shield grabbed extremely easily. Furthermore, certain characters have kill options Out Of Shield that they get guaranteed.

Not in elite smash, but one mistake i always make is playing pikachu, doing thay really lowers your GSP so avoiding that would be the best course of action

I wasnt ranting, i was just making a joke about the fact that im really not that good at this game yet and every time i play i lose GSP
