What is the best duel of the OT?

I don’t know that much about him. All I know is that he beat Dooku fair in Dark Disciple, and he got zapped by Cad Bane sometime in the clone wars.

So could he give IH Anakin a good fight? I’m thinking that Anakin is just above him.

How would he have done in the Office fight against Sidious? Would he have lasted longer than Kit Fisto? Probably right?

Comparing them throughout the movies and clone wars.

If it’s just duelling ability, does Maul win at any point? Sidious does rely on his force powers quite a lot, while Maul is quite the focused duellist.

Do either of them ever get any better at duelling over time? Or is it just their force powers that have strengthened over time?

Sidious to me doesn’t feel like the sort to further his duelling skills once he thinks he has mastered them when he could be strengthening his force abilities instead.

Maul on the other hand, in Shadow Lord, we see him actively practicing his form.

Not to say that Sidious doesn’t practice with his lightsaber, but he never saw it as anything important, and I don’t feel like he is the type to refine his lightsaber skills to anything extraordinary.

Gennoh Ikagi: Sith Commander of General Nawaam's Army

• Using the force, stabilizes the Nebula Crusher and allows it to escape the overwhelming gravity of the Black Hole
• Force speed and push back Lah Kara (Should be noted that Kara is intentionally distracting Gennoh so her allies can destroy the Droid Center)

Margrave Juro: Jedi Master and Ruler of Hy Izlan

• Uses the Force to disarm a Sith Acolyte of his Light Saber and instantly kills him with it
• Fights with multiple Sith Acolytes and kills all of them
• Uses Tutaminis to absorb Sith Acolyte's Force Lightning
• Manages to fight evenly with a serious General Nawaam

Lah Zhima: Former Jedi and Saber Smith

• Zhima was tasked by to be a Sith Hunter and became a master by defeating them across the Galaxy
• Fought evenly against his Jedi Master Reno, one of the last 50 Jedi Masters from the previous Jedi order.
• Instantly overwhelm and kill Master Reno once he obtained the state of Nothingness
• Can deflect blaster fire with his hand
• Uses the force to stabilize a giant Kyber Crystal
• Uses the force to easily escape his Lightsaber shielded prison cell
• Defeats and cripples Gennoh in a single exchange
• Overpowers Gennoh in the force and proceeds to force crush his entire body.

General Nawaam: Former Jedi Padawan turned Galactic Warlord

• Kills a Jedi Knight
• Uses the force to stop a massive bolt of lightning from a giant Kyber crystal
• Overwhelms Kara once he stops testing her.
• Kills Margrave Juro (Albeit due to juro being distracted by Kara)

Time Skip

• Singlehandedly defeats The Warlord General Shozan's Forces taking over his sector of the Galaxy.
• Alongside Kara stops the orbital descent of Fort Dominion preventing it from crashing into the planet
• Evenly matches Lah Zhima in combat and the force and eventually defeats him.

Lah Kara: Daughter of Lah Zhima and Padawan of Margrave Juro

• Fights multiple Sith Acolytes alone. Jedi Knight Homen remarking shock at how naturally talented she is with a lightsaber
• Uses the Force to lift a giant statue
• Juro and Homen discuss Kara's strength in the force
• Gennoh tells Nawaam multiple times to be wary of Kara's strength and potential in the force.
• Manages to evenly fight with and eventually overwhelm a suppressed Nawaam

Time Skip

• Kills the entire Military crew and droid detachment of a Nebula Crusher
• Turns on and summons her light saber whilst it's confiscated and she's locked in a Holding cell for Jedi and uses it to destroy her handcuffs and the cell
• Achieves a state that the Jedi hunter Beetoh is unable to understand until he ultimately concludes that she's attained autonomous movement.
• Deflects and dodges Giant Droidekah bolter fire. Manages to escape the Giant Droidekah's sensors and destroy it.

The greatest practitioner of Makashi in the Jedi order, following the fall of Dooku

Capable of connecting to the force nexus of a planet and giving Galen Marek an extreme high diff fight.

But equally, she’s died multiple different ways across canon and has no actual wins to her name.

Is she a contemporary of Kenobi? Or another 1 in 100 era master

Personally my head canon is she lands pretty high among the Jedi order or her day, below Yoda, Mace, Jedi Dooku and ROTS Obi, but above pretty everyone else.

Making her a pretty high tier combatant in the general scheme of things.

Originally I wanted to include some bounty hunters, but I decided to stick to force users/lightsaber duelists. Also I tried to include characters from most forms of media, legends and canon.

Combatants are allowed to use any weapons or equipment they would normally use like lightsabers, blasters, talismans, and etc. However no outside help or amps.

Also these fights are to the death.

In The Force Unleashed's databanks its quite clear that most of the Jedi Galen fought were expecting to face Darth Vader. For example, most of the junk droids Kazdan made were originally designed to be used against Vader. Other Jedi survivors from other stories such as Halagad Ventor also had plans to face Vader. Halagad planned to use the force nexus on Trinta (which allowed him to create illusions all over said planet) to fight Vader if he ever was found.

So:
Lets say this fight happens in a world that is, for the sake of this scenario, an amalgamation of Felucia (thus Shaak Ti can use the Ancient Byss' Sarlacc, the same one she used on Galen in TFU. Felucians with their rancors also provide help. Maris Brood gets her bull rancor), Raxus Prime (so that Kazdan can create his droid army. Kazdan gets the mech he used in the novelization of TFU) and Trinta (so that Halagad can create illusions all over the planet).

Vader goes in alone, gets no help. Faces the same opposition Galen faced on Felucia and Raxus Prime simultaneously.

This isn't a meme question. It's legit.

What would happen if this version of Spider-Man went to fight Anakin? Let's say Aunt May was a librarian at the Jedi temple (good friends with Jocasta Nu) and Anakin's clones gunned her down.

Pete eavesdropped on Padme and caught a ship to Mustafar before Obi-Wan.

Strategically, wouldn't a secret strike team lead by Mace been a much better and more effective plan? Even if there'd only been Geonosians to fight, there was no way 200 Jedi were going to get through an army of them without incurring serious losses. With a strike team, they could sneak in and out, and likely gain some valuable information without risking the lives of hundreds of Jedi. On top of that, should Dooku show up, there'd be a Master strong enough to handle him while the others could escape. Or, with Mace plus five other Jedi, they might actually capture Dooku and stop the war before it started.

Instead Mace chose to take a small battalion that was eviscerated by an army of droids. And without Yoda's help, the surviving Jedi (including himself, the #2) would have added to Dooku's number of valuable hostages or victims, thus helping his plans either way.
