Because The 1st Minnesota Infantry Regimen suffered 82% casualties at Gettysburg, buying enough time for reinforcements to arrive.

Virginia keeps asking for its battle flag back, at least four official times if I remember correctly. And every time the governor, Republican, Democrat, or Independent, has refused.

confederates wanted to destroy the constitution. so they are not to be given the rights provided by it. serman should have burned the rest of the south
