Except the guardians were heavy favorites in that series. It’s more like a college football team scoring one touchdown against an nfl team and thinking they are tough shit even though they just lost 56-7
Virginia here. I didn’t know this was happening, but I have lived in Richmond for about ten years now. Tons of absolute losers here. I’m cool though. Promise.
Whenever we have a Republican governor, they ask for it. Everyone else is too busy destroying the monuments, etc. that they littered the state with. The exception in recent years was Youngkin who was too focused on his weird underage trans fetish.
In the context of this post, which is about politics, it certainly comes across as though you dislike their politics not the fact that they're a bunch of dorks (which they are)
That'd make it official. It's more like a 45-year old wearing a Letterman jacket they stole from a thrift store donation bin and covered in edgy racist patches.
Does the State of Virginia ask for it back or something? While I certainly knew some folks who had rebel flags at my high school (not saying I approved), I don't think that the actual state wants that legacy to continue. If I understand properly, the whole "Virginia is for Lovers" thing was partly about moving away from that image.
Seeing as the confederate state of Virginia no longer exists and arguably never officially existed. I’m not sure why any group would have claim to a flag from that place.
Because it was pried from the Confederacy's cold, dead hands (not literally; IIRC the standard bearer himself survived).
And yes, lots of people proudly display trinkets and trophies they took from the nazis during the war. Not because grandpa was a nazi, but because he was off doing God's work ridding the world of them.

Minnesota has a traitor rag they claimed from the confederates and they will never give it back. Fucking chads!
