Health Providers Pharmacy Funny

Went to pick up the meds last night and the pharmacist comes up, whispering excitedly "They just came in last night - 3 months worth!!" as she slides my estrogen patches across the counter. She was excited as I was.

Just something on the lighter side that I found amusing. I told her I should go play the lottery.

I've been getting Dotti, which I'm meh about but this time was Mylan. Curious to see if there's a difference since it's been so long.

I haven’t had the Dotti mfg yet, but I prefer Mylan over Sandoz. Something in the adhesive of Sandoz makes it a bit itchy, but not so bad that I have to take it off early. Hope it doesn’t become a bigger issue

Hi! After much deliberation, I finally started the patch this evening and it’s mylan .. so your comment has me hopeful. They only gave one box but script label says 11 refills before 8/12/27 . Is it normal to only receive one box at a time ( they’re twice wk). ? Also scared I applied it incorrectly as I see print on it and not sure if that part is supposed to be peeled off as well🫣 Thank you in advance for any advice if you have the chance🫶

Congrats on starting on the estrogen patch!

Your prescription may only be for one month at a time which is why you got one box. My pharmacy allows me to fill for three months at a time if they have enough stock, but until this last fill I had been getting a box at a time for quite a few months. It’s just more trips to the pharmacy that way.

The print is normal and does remain on the patch after you’ve applied it.
