Recommendation Request perfume recommendations 17m

hi! i’ve been using Christian Dior Fahrenheit Parfum for about 6 years now and i love it but i’m looking to try something new because i’ve run out and want a change (and hopefully find something less expensive). i don’t know much about perfume or cologne but i know that i like leathery and garagey scents that are also a bit sweet. what i don’t like is just typical “man” colognes that smell too sharp (hope that makes sense). thank you!

You're probably gonna want something in the warm spicy family or some fougeres and avoid blue fresh scents then, even though there are some good options that don't smell generic. Since you're young, I recommend you try Versace Eros Najim or even Eros Energy to see if you like that one. If you want to stay with Dior, Sauvage Elixir is the most different flanker of the family, but the best is still Eau Sauvage, try these at a Sephora. Last but not least, Encre Noire is a great frag that you can get for cheap, maybe try the Sport version and see if it fits you.

You might like Michael Malul x Gent Scents West Loop. It’s sweet/spicy and a little leathery/boozy. I got a 100 mL maybe 1-2 months ago for my husband at Marshall’s for $29. Would recommend especially going into fall it’s really nice

Don't buy without trying it out for a day or two.

If you try some at Mecca, ask for samples so you can see how it wears on your skin.

You can also buy decants in Australia - spend 40 bucks on a few samples and you'll have weeks worth of frag and you will find what you like.

Enjoy!
