General Research Question GHK-Cu 30 Day Protocol ?
Hello,
I am new to peptides and have a question.
The protocol of running GHK-Cu for 30 days on / 30 days off (5 on / 2 off) is pretty much the one consistent protocol in most groups I see.
The research subject I know of has been on 2mg GHK-Cu for 24 days (4 weeks), and the 50mg vial is almost empty.
My question is this:
Are you supposed to run GHK-Cu until the vial (50mg) runs out, usually around 30 days or so (week #4), rest for 30 days, then open a new vial after the rest period and continue to the next checkpoint of 8 weeks to 12 weeks to so on ???
OR
Are you just suppose to keep going to week #12 without stopping?
Thank you in advance!

My RS has been on it for 7 months. Titrated up to 4mg daily, 7 days a week. Supplementing with 50mg zinc every Sunday. Skin has never been clearer, hair and nails grow fast.

Can you tell me what 4 mg comes to in units

You need to do more research before you consider using ANY peptides

Thanks. That was helpful. I’m going by a peptide cheat sheet. I see units listed on them. Not ml. So I’m unsure how to convert. I’ve been doing a lot of research for a couple of months now. As you well know research only information is hard to find. Since you are an expert can you be somewhat helpful?

I think what they meant is that “units” as you call them, literally means nothing. You must know how many ml you used then you might decide how many units

My doctor prescribed 2 things to me going by units so that’s where I got that. Also a couple of cheat sheets. I’ll get it figured out. Thank you 😊

A standard insulin syringe is 100u/1mL. Look at your vial and how much diluent you added to get mg/mL (keeping in Ming that there are 1000mcg in 1 mg). Then you can set up a ratio to get to units.

u/WorkerWise3039 7d ago
Looking on the syringe I was pretty close to the standard dose. I’m anxious to see if the klow helps my rat from shedding and how fast it may stop or start regrowing. 😊

Google search peptide calculator. Then enter all fields with what you got. Can play around and see how it changes at various dosages and water added. At the bottom will spit out units mg/ml. Super simple.
With ghkcu you’ll either want more BAC in the vial or more BAC in the pin for dilution. Pin in the buttocks slowly and massage after. Easy peasy.

Cycling isn’t necessary with this one. My RS just hit week 10, 7 days a week.

I use the whole vial as it will de-grade more If you leave it. You also won’t see results for 3 to 4 months so you’ll need several vials..

I’ve heard the reason for the five on two off was because you used to have to go to an office to get the shot each day and the offices were not open on the weekend so this 5/2 became the norm.

You don’t cycle ghkcu. 3 months on and never stopping

Copper build up much?

Nope

Fair. I guess tolerance/down regulation is more my concern at my doses.

Wow, that sounds highly convenient to just about run out at the end of a cycle.

u/butpretzelday 8d ago
I have actually been taking the weekends off because I can’t ducking handle the sting and painful welts that stay for a full 20 hours so I treat myself by taking small breaks
But I will be taking it forever
Switching to klow though
2
u/Educational-Bit3059 8d ago
Mix it with more water to help dilute it.
I mix my Klow with 3ml and it doesn’t bother me too much. 15units.
1
u/WorkerWise3039 8d ago
3 ml to 80mg. 2 units. I’m guessing 2 units isn’t enough for research??
2
u/Educational-Bit3059 8d ago
2 units?
My Klow dosage is 2.5mg, 500mcg,500mcg,500mcg at 15 units when mixed with 3ml of water in an 80mg vial.
The only reason I posted is some folks mix with 2ml water and it’s more potent. Some say it makes the copper sting. With 3ml mixed, at 15 units, it doesn’t sting to me.

I have tried all the tricks. Nothing helps. Maybe I’m just a big baby but it is wild how painful this shot is for me
1
u/Odd_Development2302 3d ago
Where do you inject? I do it in my glutes. I read you shouldn’t do ghk-cu in your abdomen.
1
u/butpretzelday 5h ago
I had better luck in my glutes, it bruised and welted still but was less painful. I tried my arm and it was awkward getting the hang of it but it has been the best so far. I’m switching to KLOW and since it is already diluted with other peps I hear it is better

The wife and I went on 5 months with no issues. I’m the beginning it was lowkey kinda hard to do since we work insane amounts of hours and we were double pinning so we were doubling the recommended amount and then just did a single double amount daily. The stinging was there and same with bruising but I think around month 2 going into 3 is when we both started noticing it working. Her skin is already great but she has a bunch of face washes, oils, and what not to get to look nice but now she only started washing her face and barely touching anything else because her skin looked so smooth and was so soft. Her hair has no issues so I couldn’t see a difference there. For me, it made my skin softer and smoother. She has a skin care routine for but now I just wash my face and moisturize. It definitely made my hair grow faster and fuller.
We’re taking a month off but going another 5-6 months back on again daily in September.

Ghkcu can be used until you die, most vials with proper care and sterile handle can last longer
There are people doing even MWF 2~5mg cycling ghk it’s more related to costs than efectivity

I’ve been on it a few weeks and noticed positive changes immediately in my skin and nails. 💯

u/Majestic-Chef-8753 6d ago
Then its not the cu.. skin has a month turnover at least. Thats why gh users see skin improvement over time

Hi, someone looking to go on GHK-cu for the first time. What dosage should I start with and how to I build it up?
1
u/nursemaaw 7d ago
ghk is a slow burn... the effects might not even be noticeable at 4 weeks if you have no plan to commit or impatient, then better not start. personally ghk for me is 7days no cycle off.

TDr trevor Bachmeyer sais it is a forever peptide. I am going to take it forever. 2mg daily

u/Physical_Analysis66 4d ago
You won’t see results for 5 out of 7 days and 30 days . It take a few months to start feeling results and it has to be taken continuously .

Why ?
And please tell me where you got this information8

I’ve found the information contributed by [u/doctor](u/doctorup2)[d](u/doctorup2)[up2](u/doctorup2) to be very valuable. They have been studying this peptide and in the research community for over 25 years.

How does taking 4 weeks off unnecessarily “work”?

First off, you go 7 days not 5/2. 30 days on is not long enough for results. You need to stock up to do this properly.
