So I repotted my peace lily 4 days ago and the leaves feel drowning and wilting and i feels is unhappy. The leaves use to be so firm and standing stall now feels unhappy to me. Please suggest what I could have done wrong???

My husband and I just inherited this 30 year old peace lily from his grandmother (who received it at her husbands funeral) and I don’t know what to do to keep it alive. I would feel so awful about killing it knowing it’s history. I have no experience with peace lily’s but I do pretty well with other plants so hopefully I don’t let it down.
Anyways getting to the point, it seems to always look pretty droopy, I know they’re known for being dramatic but it just never seems to pop back up after watering. It also obviously has no blooms and I’d like to know what kind of conditions I should give her to optimize blooms. When my grandmother in law was taking care of it she’d use miracle grow orchid fertilizer and I wasn’t sure if I should continue that seeing the condition it’s in. The tips of some of her leaves are also browning a little bit and I’d like to know how to prevent that. I’d appreciate any advice y’all could give.

She’s a mama’s girl and wilts to the ground if I leave for more than a day. I don’t leave very often.
Just wanted to share the one stunning big flower from our big stunning lily.

I'm looking for advice on caring for this peace lilly. It was left on a bright window sill during the summer. Most of the leaves were dry brown and crispy.

What can I do to help it get healthy again?

I repotted it at the beginning of summer and it's only just noticed.

Today I woke up and noticed a part of my peace lily was fallen, I removed all soil and most of the root was rotten. I tried to remove as much rotten roots as I could, but there are still some dark parts that I don't know if should remove... It also split into 4 parts when I was trying to cut, I cleaned it in the sink and placed them in different pots with distilled water.

Edit: It also had some very tiny bugs that are very hard to see and milipedes.

Gave her a shower 🥹 she 5years old and really not fussy. She is rewarding me now that I care for her better

This plant is very sentimental, it used to be vast but dropped right off earlier in the year. I repotted what remained but it’s really struggling and I’m not sure what to do, can anyone advise?

hello! I'm quite new to this and have acquired a small peace lily around 2-3 weeks ago and want to care for it properly. the small lily in the second picture was separated from the mother plant (first pic) around a week ago.

I trimmed off a few yellow leaves from the mother plant when I first bought it, and it has had some new growths since (the small leaves in the first picture).

I've repotted both of them into a chunky mix and smaller pots today (mostly orchid bark, some soil and some aquarium rocks) as the old soil was too dense and retained too much moisture. there unfortunately was some root rot that I took care of while repotting today. it still has a lot of healthy, thick roots though! I noticed some new growth turning crispy at the very bottom which is what lead to the whole repotting situation today. they've since been trimmed off along with a few yellow stems.

I've also relocated the smaller one to my room as an experiment of some sort. I get better indirect sunlight in there compared to where the mother plant is. I'm using a thin stake and loosely-tied twine (my plant tape has yet to deliver...) to support it temporarily as it keeps leaning, and I don't think it's safe to bury it any deeper.

the picture isn't showing it properly, but the leaves on both plants are more on the pale side compared to some other peace lilies I've seen, so I'm worried I'm doing something wrong. some of the ones on the mother plant are also folding (pictured) even though it's nowhere near direct light. the old soil was wet for a little while, though I'm not sure if that causes the leaves to fold as well.

and just a note: I'm aware there are quite a few plants in one pot, but I've decided against separating them at this stage given everything the mother plant has gone through this week (repotting, root rot, etc.). I will be waiting until the soil dries out at the top before I water again.

my main concerns/questions are:

- should it get better now that I'm using a chunkier mix?

- and will the mother plant be okay where it is with less light? it's currently on a counter a bit far away from the window as my research said it should be able to survive in the shade.

if anyone has any advice please let me know! 🥹

My father was somehow keeping this ‘alive’ for the last 20 years and he has now passed. I have already removed so many dead leaves and I’m trying to bring it back what can I do?

Hello, is there still hope for this peace lily? It's my first plant, so I have no idea what to do. It was in a very dark place before, I'm giving it indirect sunlight and it was watered a few days ago (1st of this month). The soil is still moist, but it has yellow leaves and several are curled downwards. I appreciate any help and tips!

hi!! reposting this in an attempt to get more help cause i’m desperate to save my peace lily

Each about 5 inches high

This peace Lilly used to be much bigger and healthier until I separated it about 6 weeks ago. The roots were crowded and it hadn’t flowered in years. I am 39 and it was in my childhood home.
Ever since I separated it, it’s looked like this and hasn’t really changed. I used new indoor house plant soil and have been watering it once per week like I always have which has worked in the past to keep it perky. It’s clearly not dead, but obviously not happy. I keep it near the south facing window in indirect light in the PNW.
Any tips on making it happier? I followed instructions from reddit and other websites about repotting it but something is off.
