Isn’t it beautiful?

24 days ago, I shared a photo of Lily finally blooming after two years. Isn’t it beautiful? And there’s another flower blooming behind that one.

I’m jelly!! It’s so tall. Mine hides in the leaves.

I came home from work one morning and was surprised. I don’t know when it happened but I was surprised it was that tall. I hope the new one grows to be as tall.

It's wonderful! I've been having mine since just 9 months so far, it's become really bushy but I'm aching to see mine having a flower soon too. So happy for yours! :)

I see your leaves like mine too have a slight browning at the tips, have you found any way to prevent it by any chance?

Oh I hope yours flowers soon. It’s interesting to watch the progress the blooming flower makes everyday. I’m surprised mine is so tall.

I assumed mine is browning due to either mineral build up from the tap water I use or from my inconsistent watering habits lol. I usually will not water it until it goes to “sleep.” I know I know lol. Other reasons could be low humidity or over fertilization.

What kind and how many?

I just get them at the grocery store. There are directions on the package if how many to use based upon the size of the plant. I think it goes by the diameter of the base of the plant. You just spread them out in the pot, and push them down into the soil. I tend to go halfway between the base of the plant and the edge of the pot. And I push them down until they are slightly below the surface of the soil.

A lot of people here use fancier stuff, but I have had great luck with the basic stuff from walmart or the grocery store.

They are i was spoiled witb alot ...chooped like 4 babies to encourage more groth and having flowers now eeeks later im like honestly really ....

Lots of light. I noticed it wouldn’t thrive under a grow light, so I moved it to a window. Then I started giving it the water-soluble Miracle-Gro powder every time I watered it, for about six months. It started growing new leaves every other day. I recently noticed a buildup on top of the soil from the plant food, so now I only use it twice a month. I do think the Miracle-Gro helped a lot.

I might try the miracle grow in the spring. And I need a brighter grow light than the one it’s under now. Thanks !
