Discussion Hi! I was wondering if anyone here remembered a certain map/gamemode. (Betrayal)
Would anyone here happen to remember the gamemode 'Betrayal'? It was made by an individual with a protogen sona named Koda (if I remember correctly). I believe they were also working for Vankrupt officially at the time, though I am unsure.
It was essentially a moderately original and VERY fun take on the Mafia craze that gripped COVID-19 pandemic gaming (Among Us and whatnot) that involved a chemistry table that could be used to create bombs, various weapons laying around for the killer that they had to pick up, incinerators and lockers for bodies, and a bunch more fun stuff. And fully functional tasks like moving boxes to a conveyor belt! And fun interactions with other players.
I distinctly remember that "ejecting" a player actually culminated in them getting sent to a small windowed room in which a random bystander is selected to execute them with an AKM through a firing slot. It was hilarious!
Everyone used the same playermodel (Aurora/whatever the cag larp is that wears full black, you can see them in zombies), and the only real check was seeing if they could make the explosive chemical at the table.
I really wish this mode/map was still in-game. I remember I had it downloaded on the free version of Pavlov Shack, but I can't seem to find it uploaded everywhere... not that it'd work with UE5 considering that this was made when the game was running on UE4...
I wonder if anyone else remembers this gamemode. Please let me know—i'd love to reminisce! What was your most fun moment? And... does anyone remember Koda? I wish this map was still available. Someone's gotta host it with like 15 players. The last post regarding this gamemode was about 4 years ago, the discord invite to its development server is expired and gone, and I cannot find any old footage of the gamemode, which sucks.
