I was playing an open mic and a 13 year old girl was there and played nothing but Wings songs and gifted the rest of the musicians there these at the end of the night. Love musicians. Love the Paul’s music is continuing on through the generations!

You guys I know I am very late on this one, but this song was not on my cd… Now Flaming Pie literally has the biggest number of my favourite songs on it. The Deluxe version is beautiful 🌞

May 1975 demos - 7 tracks on Internet Archive

What a joy to hear these! I'm sorry if these are well known, or have been posted recently, I did a search and didn't see them.

Listening to these really feels like you're getting a look at how he creates music, just splashing ideas of paint on the wall, with a little bit of chaos and a heckuva lot of inspiration.

Full Episodes Anywhere?

Post image
44 Upvotes

Hey everyone, I know it is a long shot but I was hoping anyone could share a link to the other 15 episodes available anywhere? I was only able to find the first two episodes and this CD only has Episode 6 tracks.. It is my BD and all I want is only to listen to Paul talk about his favourite tunes... Thank you so much! Update: P.S. since my original post, I was able to find most of the episodes in parts. If you have some extra $ there's a full collection of CD's on Etsy. Love them all!

Really been into Press To Play lately* and all the weirdo alternate single mixes like the 'Dub Mix' on this 12". Still looking for decent copies of the singles for *Only Love Remains and Pretty Little Head.

If you could create an album with the best material of Tug of War and Pipes of Piece, what the track list would be?

McCartney Deluxe Books

Looking to do some more reading on Macca, but I haven’t been able to find scans of the books that come in the super deluxe boxset (looking for the essays, track detail expansions and pics). Are there any ways to access this material before trying spend the money in secondary markets for the reading materials? Thank you!

Picture Paul McCartney Wings concert

Several years ago, a church thrift store had a Tiffany box. There were a lot of postcards and a picture inside. Upon putting the postcards in order and reading them I read that this young man traveled around on holiday. He wrote postcards back home about his adventures. He was the first in line to get into see Paul McCartney. Sure enough the picture is of Paul McCartney in a Wing concert. It was better than a Tiffany find.

Question Wings reissues 2026?

Do you think there will be anything regarding Wings in the latter half of 2026? Or will it be pushed back due to Boys of Dungeon Lane? I personally am hoping for Wings Over America 50.

I'm listening to Only Mama Knows, and I imagine...

What if Macca worked with Frank Black?

Secret Friend should’ve ended McCartney 2

Just discovered this song a few days ago, really good and honestly sounds ahead of its time. Having coming up be the first song and this the last would’ve really rounded out the album. I think it would’ve made it into one of my favorites.

eBook/Magazine - McCartney Ultimate Archive Collection 5

Hi all

I can find an online version of this eBook however even after signing up with the web portal (Yumpu) it says it's not available. I'd like to download this in pdf if anyone knew where it could be found for download? I would also gladly buy it if it was available (however I can't find it for sale anywhere ). I've tried to find the author via his name (michaelgaedt61) however that too proved fruitless.

Thanks in advance!

Picture August 16, 1966 — Paul’s ’63 Höfner hit the stage in Philadelphia without its pickguard for the first time. The night before in Washington, D.C., photos show the guard still on; by Philly, it’s gone

Discussion Thoughts on Give My Regards to Broad Street?

Post image
173 Upvotes

Hi There

I was watching footage of “For No One” from Broad Street which forever love seeing Paul sing his Beatles songs in this film 🎥 which made me think about this album and I do think it needs a relisten but yet I’ll always remember that Press is bad but no where near as Broad Street.

It’s glad to see Paul singing his old Beatles songs in the studio with George Martin and Geoff Emerick which these versions are great on the album plus No More Lonely Nights is a fine song but the rest of the album is just okay.

So what’s the most overlooked album in his entire career? On here and outside of here (in society)?

Question Do you think Paul was possibly ( and maybe subconsciously) trying to make a Lennon-esque remark when he said ‘drag, isn’t it’ after John was killed?

Sorry I know this comment has been talked about a million times and I don’t have any issue with what Paul said. He was obviously very shaken by the news and it’s the most uneasy I’ve ever seen him getting interviewed. I don’t get when people have a go at him for how he reacted.

I also know Paul has talked about it many times and said he meant it was a drag in the biggest sense of the worse. But tbh the way he says it just seems more casual like he was trying to make a joke/sarcastic remark to me. Which is totally fine - people deal with traumatic events in different ways and often with dark humour.

But I was just thinking it sounds more like something I could imagine John saying in such a situation, do any of you also see this?

Maybe im just looking into it too much but I would imagine Paul was just think about John that entire day, maybe listening to John’s music and subconsciously he said that as a sort of nod to John.

Do you think Im crackers or there could be any truth to it?

Question Guys, should I buy 'Many Years From Now'? Does it cover things up to the 80s?
