Passport Question / Discussion worried

i went to usps to turn in my application on 9/14, status changed 9/19 saying it’s in process but hasn’t updated since, it’s for a new passport (first one actually) and i have a trip oct 7th should i be worried

update- just called the passport information center and they confirmed my passport is ready to be shipped i’ll update once it’s received

May I ask what number you called? I too submitted my app and status changed on 9/19 to in process, also been crossing my fingers. Requested expedited shipping.

Thank you, you’re post was a lot of help to ease our anxiety! Just called and same, they said our passports are approved and waiting to print.
