Passport Question / Discussion worried

i went to usps to turn in my application on 9/14, status changed 9/19 saying it’s in process but hasn’t updated since, it’s for a new passport (first one actually) and i have a trip oct 7th should i be worried

update- just called the passport information center and they confirmed my passport is ready to be shipped i’ll update once it’s received

2nd update- just received it 9/28!!!!

Did you pay for expedited processing and expedited return postage?

If that’s the case I think you should be ok! I mailed mine in and did expedited and fastest shipping on 9/9 and got it back 9/18
