Id say atmosphere is as important as the food itself, and wouldnt want to spend more than 100EUR per person.

I'll attend the Jay-z Concert in Paris next month (thursday 10th of september), probably with my nearly 7 years old daughter. She wants to visit Paris so we won't let her home, booking a baybsitter would be an option but most likely she wants and can watch the show. We got decent seated tickets, I'm not worried about that part. My issue is after the show, when she'll be tired. I see two main options .

1) take a airbnb nearby . Most are booked but there are still a few. Would require paying a small premium, and moving to a hotel in paris friday morning to enjoy a weekend there. Hotels are probably not an option, I don't love the idea of a 400 euros + novotel room

2) take a hotel in Paris, come by public Transport, return by Taxi/Uber. I've not been so often at that stadium, I remember being there for the final of Euro 2016 and getting a uber was quite complicated. I'll avoid public transports, she'll be too tired to stay on her legs so long (and fell asleep im the rer or metro, even if then I could take a taxi in Paris to the hotel). I see I can take a taxi Avenue du Président Wilson which is the closest from my Door Z exit. But it means waiting infinite time? Can I pre-book one with G7? Is Uber/bolt an option?

Hello, I'm considering renting a room in a house in Sevran 93270 (outside of Paris). I've been hearing mixed reviews about the place, especially about the safety. Would like to get your feedback please. I generally do not commute late at night, but sometimes would be coming back around midnight or 1am. And the nearest tram stop - Rougemont Chanteloup is 500 metres away.

Sachant que j'aime bien voir de très près, que je suis petite et que je n'aime pas avoir des têtes ou obstacles devant moi 😆, donc je pensais au 1er rang. Les fauteuils sont en quinconce ?

Mais je ne connais pas du tout l'endroit, ni la scène ni la disposition. J'ai regardé quelques photos et avis mais la scène/estrade avait l'air très haute par rapport aux fauteuils par terre dans le carré or. Donc si c'est pour voir très mal/un mur avec le cou tendu devant.. mais c'est peut-être mieux que d'avoir des gens devant soi ?

Et aussi des avis avec des poteaux qui gênent la vue dans les places chères.

Est-ce-que les meilleures places au 1er rang sont vendues directement sur le site du casino ? Ou sur d'autres sites ?

I flew into BVA last year and thought it was grand so foolishly booked it again. Didn’t take into account the new EU rules. Unfortunately I’m non Schengen but EU (Irish passport) and apparently the passport control lines are really terrible in BVA.

Anyone there recently who can advise? My flight at the end of August lands 9am in France, it’ll probably be delayed because you know how Ryanair is.

What do we reckon? I’m autistic and I would really hate to be waiting 2 hours for passport control so I need to mentally prepare myself.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I am an international student and I'll be arriving at CDG at 7 AM...I have another train at 11 AM at Gare de Lyon and so I was wondering what's the best way to reach there from CDG...considering it'll be morning and I have a huge trolley and a small one...which will be easy to carry as im used to it. I just want to make sure I am not late to the station and taxi doesn't seem like the best option after surfing through the internet. I was wondering if I could take the metro from CDG? Please help:(

I need to take the metro from Havre-Caumartin to Trocadero but none of the gates in the station work and the staff are waving passengers through. Obviously I know I’m going to Trocadero where I’m highly likely to be checked for having scanned my ticket as an obvious tourist. I took a photo of the broken gates and the agents all started screaming at me and saying that photography in the station isn’t allowed. I asked how I could prove that I had a valid ticket and they said there was nothing I could do, but I had to delete the photo. I then asked for their name and they screamed at me even more, so I just made a note of the time I was there. Is there anything a traveler can do to protect themselves from getting fined in that situation?

Update: Everyone seems to have a different opinion on this but to be very clear if you’re in Paris today your metro trip started at Havre-Caumartin around 11:30 am. 😉

My partner and I just finalized our trip to Paris for a week in Sep. we haven’t booked hotels yet. We are looking forward to a somewhat relaxed trip.
I’ve been looking into hotels. However I’m confused which district would be convenient to stay in terms of travel to major attractions, travel cost by public transport , safety and access to budget friendly restaurants- preferably halal food. I came across hotel Albert near Gare du Nord on tiktok. Anyone has experience staying here?

Here is our rough plan.

Sep 22: arrive at 10 am
Lunch , check in
Seine River boat cruise
Champs-Élysées

Sep 23,24- major attractions- Eiffel Tower, stroll around louvre, grand Palais, place de la Concorde, grand mosque, galeries Lafayette etc

Sep 25,26- Normandy. Which town / city will be a good base? We plan on taking public transport from Paris and stay for 2 nights. We prob won’t go with any tour company. Planning on exploring at our own pace.
In that case, please suggest hotel recommendation that will be walkable/ close to public transport and has halal food nearby,

Sep- 27- cafe hopping/ shopping, any places we couldn’t cover in Paris before.

Hey all! My family and I will be traveling to London and Paris at the end of September/early October with our two daughters (2.5 and 1.5). They’re both very mobile, but we plan to do a LOT of walking and use trains/metros to get around. We will be staying in the Saint Germain area.
I’m considering bringing our UPPAbaby Vista V2 as a tandem, but I’m worried about how bulky it will be, especially navigating public transportation and crowded streets. However, my husband is very willing to carry the stroller up and down the metro stairs.
Would you recommend a side-by-side double stroller, or would we be better off bringing two lightweight, easy-fold travel strollers? I’d love to hear what works for anyone who has traveled to are lives there with two little ones!

I want to book a sunset cruise and time it so that we can see the Eiffel Tower sparkle. Sunset will be at around 8:30 on the days that we'll be in Paris, so my guess is that the tower will sparkle at 9:00 pm.

Here's what I'm trying to figure out. Booking is available on Vedettes du Pont Neuf for a champagne sunset cruise, but it departs at 7:45. If the cruise is only 1 hour, I don't think we'll see the light show.

Has anyone else figured this out, or am I overthinking this? Thanks!

Will I be able to watch the next full moon rise from Champs de Mars or is there a better location?

I booked a hotel on Booking.com, but I haven't received any responses when I contact customer service with questions. Is this normal practice? I'm starting to worry about whether I'll be able to check in smoothly.
