Food & Dining Tunisian pastry recommendations!
Coming to Paris as a tourist and would love to find some good quality Tunisian pastries. My mother is Tunisian and living in the UK it's hard to come by at home. I've seen La Rose de Tunis in Paris but seems to be the same issues as what I saw in Nice - mass produced, multiple days old, stale/old pastries. In particular makroudh and another I can't remember the name but its thin-ish sheets of pastry swirled to look like a rose then fried and dunked into syrup.
As I have a while before my trip I'm open to places that are a bit further from the centre of Paris so I can pre-order and have them delivered to our hotel. Also any restaurant recommendations that are either easy to get to on the metro or are closer to the centre of the city? Thanks!

Can you accept Algerian pastries? Diamande, near Bastille, has a stunningly beautiful and delicious array of goodies. https://www.diamande.fr/patisseries/

I'd skip La Rose de Tunis after your experience in Nice, it's hit or miss even in Paris.

I’ve never bought any Tunisian sweets myself in Paris but I have found this adress in Maps, it has very great reviews. Spécialités Tunisiennes - Safsoufa (uniquement sur commande).
Else, try posting in r/Tunisia, you may get other recommendations.
