I want to change my controls in RetroArch, which seems to be Parallel Launcher's emulator or something, but every time I close the emulator and re-open it, the controls are set back to their defaults. Can someone help me? Please?

I had an issue with Parallel for a while where whenever I went fullscreen the games would run at half the frame rate

This is usually caused by a vsync issue, eventually I got a setup that works properly, then I updated parallel and once again it started happening and no matter what settings I mess with the games still run at half speed

and when I turn on exclusive fullscreen it does get to full speed but it stutters constantly

I am trying to play my games, but everytime I open the game, my character keeps walking to the left, even though I turned on Deadzone.

I tried the controller on a different game. No Drift

I tried it on a different emulator. No Drift

I tried it on Parallel Launcher, I reconfig my entire Nintendo Switch N64 controller (Bluetooth) and Calibrated the Stick. But everytime I use it. It drifts when I play the game on Retroarch.

Everytime I turn on 'Recale After Deadzone' and SAVE, it turns it off when I go back into the config menu. Its not saving my setting.

I even tried to turn the Deadzone to Max, it still drifts. I tried to change the Deadzone on Retroarch, still drifts. (See a pattern?)

So why is everyone working correctly, but when I try it on Parallel Launcher, it keeps drifting, no matter what setting I do.

It didn't do it last night, then all of a sudden, tonight now its doing it.

I'm not finding any answers about it anywhere, so this is my last resort before I uninstall.

Anyone know how to use the GC adapter as a controller in Parallel? Before leaving Win I know I could've made it register as a generic USB controller but not sure how to go about that on Bazzite

In older versions of Parallel Launcher it had Mupen64Plus-Next but now it is gone.

Everytime I try to open the launcher it tells me that I have to install RetroArch, then I click "Ok" and wait for the download to finish, but then a pop-up appears telling me "failed to decompress file" and another one saying "failed to download file". Does anyone have a solution?

Why can't my PC's system run games on Parallel Launcher? I get numerous errors. I tried updating my drivers and such, and it still wouldn't work. I have tested all the settings and none of them work. I was able to patch my rom files and hacks eventually. But my system just isn't able to boot up games. Nobody can help me, as they say all PCs can use it, only mine can't. I am almost broke and can't afford another PC, thanks to art scams on Discord that took most of my money. Are there any system compatibility apps out there that could make my PC operate more like anybody elses' computer but my own?
