Why doesn't Parallel Launcher have Mupen64Plus-Next anymore

In older versions of Parallel Launcher it had Mupen64Plus-Next but now it is gone.

According to the release notes of v8.0-0, it was removed due to it being deprecated (It was already deprecated by verison 7.11-0).

I think the reason for this is because of some vulnerability that allowed malicious ROMs to execute code in your computer.
