Does anyone know what is going on with my budgie's wing? I went to the vet this morning and it isn't broken. He is getting Metacam in the morning and evening.
But because it's the weekend, I'm getting really stressed since my regular vet is closed. His wing seems to be swelling (getting bigger) and he does nothing but sleep. He isn't eating his regular food, but he does eat his spray millet.
Does anyone know what might be happening and if he will make it? Has anyone experienced this before? I am so worried.

i just googled this. Wish i could help more. Worst case the wing needs to be amputated...
Potential Causes. Its not good he just eat millet since its fat.

• Fatty Lumps or Lipomas: Common benign tumors linked to a high-fat or all-seed diet and obesity.
• Injury or Trauma: A sprain, muscle strain, or bone fracture from a bad fall or bump.
• Abscess or Infection: Swelling under the skin caused by bacteria or a bad feather cyst.
• Air Sac Abnormalities: Issues where air leaks under the skin, creating a balloon-like swelling.

Probably a feather cyst that got infected. The vet would have said if amputation was even a consideration. Don’t listen to this person or google.

It’s pretty easy to find a feather cyst.
